Excellent in all aspects Except for faulty door lock which made entering painfully difficult each time we locked the door behind us and later in the day tried to re-enter. Best unit by far in which we have ever stayed and no doubt this serious flaw can be corrected.There was no landline and iphone was inoperative because of lack of wifi. Because wifi wouldn’t work AT ALL we had no way in contacting managers and sadly they made no attempt to contact us. Still I have no trouble in rating this an A and will recommend it to others.

Two views

The cottage was very well equipped. Two views were fantastic - front and rear coves with decks on which to enjoy them. The activities in the area included hiking, lookouts, and birding / wildlife viewing. Wonderful stay.

Our stay in Twillingate

Though this property is a drive from Twillingate it was well worth it. The property is beautiful, and the owner has made the place comfortable and has everything you would need. Marie was wonderful to deal with, prompt and helpful. We hope to be back in a year or two!!

Tucked away comfort

I really can't say enough good things about this house! It is located in a beautiful spot with water views from the front and back of the house. The kitchen is well equipped with a spice box and all the pots and pans needed to produce a great meal. The living room and bedrooms were all comfortable. The house is a 10-15 minute drive to Twillingate where there are grocery stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this rental!

Little Pike

Nice quiet property on Pike's Arm. Great Lookout trail close to the cottage. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen and linens/towels. Location was as advertised, but I would have preferred to be closer to Twillinggate and all the hiking that area offered. That said, the views of the bays from both sides of the cottage were beautiful.

We loved Little Pike! The property is spectacular and the renovations/decorations are very tastefully done. The house was also very clean and the beds very comfortable. Make sure to walk up the staircases to the lookout that is just behind the property if you are able to - the view is beautiful! Communication from the host was excellent both leading up to and during our stay and the provided directions and check in instructions were very clear. We will definitely be recommending Little Pike to our family & friends if they ever visit Twillingate and the surrounding area.

Beautifully appointed - between two coves

After a day of driving, there was a gasp of appreciation as the first person entered. I wished we had the groceries to just savour the property and setting (rather than go out to a restaurant).

Beautiful Retreat

This house was just as it was described. The setting was beautiful. It was located in a more community area, and the neighbors were very friendly. The host supplied drinking water (which was important), all kitchen appliances/cookware needed, and some spices for cooking. The living room had comfortable furniture, and the beds were really comfortable too. It was a wonderful place with water views off the front AND the back decks. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting the Twillingate area or Fogo Island. The host was very responsive when I texted.

Fabulous

What a fabulous place and location, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Our biggest decision was trying to decide whether to sit on the front deck or back deck as both views are stunning. It is a really lovely place both inside and out - better than the pictures portrayed. A very well equipped cottage had everything we needed. Marie was extremely helpful and very responsive. A lovely area with lots of beautiful hikes and walks nearby, Twillingate is only a 25 minutes away. Would highly recommend.

Comfy red house

Very clean and comfortable home. A little off the beaten path if you’re spending time in Twillingate (about 22 kms one way) but definitely worth it if you don’t mind the drive. Also, right down the street is a lookout trail to the top of the hill that has incredible 360 views. Supposedly great for whale viewing. Don’t miss this trail.

Un endroit hyper hyper tranquille, silencieux, 12 maisons dans un rayons de 2 kms. Les gens sont super gentils et discrets. Un endroit très isolés, donc pour les gens a l'aise avec le grand silence. Environnement très sécuritaire. Aucun commerce a moins de 30kms. Un endroit magique en pleine nature...en avant de la maison, l'Ocean , en arrière l'océan.
