About 2 miles from the city centre Metro station close by,good reception and staff very welcoming ,very modern interior a lot of glass, the rooms where an odd layout but still comfortable, though lack of drawers a little annoying, breakfast very good ,we stayed half board, the food and presentation was as good as you'll get,top marks. Would recommend Lisbon its a bright and vibrant and welcoming city with plenty to see and do,altogether an enjoyable experience, will go again
7 of us stayed here in three rooms on 5th April 2017 for a one night stop in Lisbon the guy on the desk was quick and efficient and very helpful with room allocation and the hotel more than adequately served its purpose, we had a van that could not go in the garage so we were allowed to park outside the hotel which was welcome Breakfast was ok. the shower was good the bed comfortable and complimentary water. the only gripe was that the rooms we had were a little small,,but all in all we had a good time
I wasn't in Lisbon long but for the little time i was there, his hotel served its purpose nicely. It's about a 15 minute subway to the airport so it's super convenient. The lobby looks great and represents a pretty decent 4-star look - but the rooms go down to about a 3.5 star look. The carpet had some wear and tear but other than that it was pretty chic and modern.
My sister and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The website makes the hotel look really lovely but the reality is different - a 3 star rather than 4 star experience. The first room we had, 6011, we found out that the bath/shower did not work properly and we had to change rooms after we had unpacked (to room 4011). If it is a view you are after do not have these rooms as they look out over derelict flats. We also had one night where excessively noisy guests kept us awake with with shouting and screaming, running along the corridor and knocking on each other doors. The reception staff intervened but it took two attempts to get them to shut up. There was no storage of any sorts in the room, everything had to go in an open plan wardrobe with no drawers - this appeared to tempt staff to go through your clothes as my sister 'lost' a favourite white top whilst staying here. Everything just looked a bit tired in the hotel. Staff were generally pleasant but very few of them. The breakfast was basic and the same everyday. We had to ask for a kettle in the room as there was not one in there, there was a Nespresso machine but you had to pay for each coffee. Luckily we had taken our own tea as nothing was provided, we had to pay for milk from the kitchen.Other amenities were not available such as the minibar, no paperwork in the room to inform you about the area etc. Beds were okay and clean linen and towels changed each day. We had a meal in the restaurant and the head waiter was fantastic although food not particularly wonderful. The hotel was cheap to stay in (part of a package)but I would rather have paid a little more for a better interior. It urgently needs some investment. It is a good walk to the centre of the city, we were not keen to use the metro as not many people seemed to be using it and it did not look particularly inviting from the outside. There is a tram you can pick up halfway to the city centre at certain times of the day.
In this case,in this hotel, after reading many reviews,i was wondering if i made a mistake,by choosing this hotel.. The truth is that after my five days stay at the hotel,i was very satisfied..from the place, just 150 meters away from the anjos, metro station and 15 minutes walk from the town's historical center, wich is at the end of the Almirante reis..straight away and just 15 min way from the airport,11,5 euros when we first came and just 8 euros at our departure day with taxi. I was satisfied from the stuff, wich was very helpfull when needed, rooms were clean, small but clean..ok the carpets had some stings, but this doesnt ment that was dirty..and finally brekfast was ok,average but had almost everything and especially the super fresh bread rolls! Lisbon is a fantastic city and czar is a good base to explore this city,in my opinion. I would definately come again
We stayed in this hotel in January, 2017 for 4 days and three night. The hotel is located far from the city, a 15 minutes walk but there is a train close by. Walking in the evening if you are by yourself too many homeless sleeping by the pavement. Breakfast was included, it was nice but the same every morning. The room looked tired, the carpet looked dirty, the chair there was a cigarette hole and looked filthy has a nespresso but you have to buy the k cup coffee for 1 euro. Next time will stay in the center although this hotel was located near the airport.
I loved this hotel! It is a modern hotel about a 15 minute ride away from the airport and a 15 minute walk to the city. The staff were so friendly and our room could not be faulted. It was spacious and very clean! There was a safe in the room too! Breakfast at the hotel was so delicious, there was a mix of cereals, hot meats and eggs. There were loads of breads, cheeses and cakes! I would stay here again and would recommend it if you do not mind a short walk!
Hotel good location and very near to metro & bus stops, ideal for short stay. Room small but clean & tidy, if you are at the front of hotel the street noise can be quite a problem especially sirens through the nite. Enjoyed the breakfast and the staff are very helpful.
I had a 3 nights stay at this hotel and my holiday was totally ruined by the housekeeping staffs and here are the reasons: 1. I requested for the housekeeping services on my first day but they never replenish the facial cotton pad despite the current pack was finished. 2. I have the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door on the second day but they OPENED MY DOOR WHILE I WAS IN MY ROOM (the room does not have a chain lock). 3. After few hours they came back knocking on my door asking if I want the room service and I answered "No Thanks!". But 15 minutes later they called to my room and asked me the same question again and in the end I just have to take something from them to prevent being asked the same question repeatedly. I really wonder what is the purpose of the sign of "Do Not Disturb" where they will not even respect the choice of the guests. I was sick on that day and could not even have a good rest at all! I could hear all sort of noises produced by the staffs while cleaning the neighboring rooms especially the very loud slam of the doors non-stop and continuously for the whole afternoon!!! The staffs could not even be bothered or considerate to provide the guests with a peaceful and quiet environment, this is the worst ever 4 stars experience I have had! During check-out, there was a long queue because only one staff was allocated at the front desk during the peak hours. The wifi in the hotel was almost unusable. Other than the problems above, the room itself was ok and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The front desk staffs are also very welcoming and helpful.
Not bad but not great. Friendly and usefull staff. No parking in front for check-in or space taken indefinitly by parked bus , no other option. Location and neighborhood ok, but not great either. Room and hallway could be cleaner.. Breakfast ok, only 4 stars hotel that serves powdered orange juice in my 2 weeks- vacation ( been in 4 other 4 stars ).. Avoid room 1003 and similar, who is located about 8 - 10 feet from the balcony of an appartement and is a lot smaller than the other rooms. ( I guess that's what you get for getting a good deal on the net ).
