It’s strange that this place has amazing reviews and is a dump. The architecture is beautiful don’t get me wrong but everything else is terrible. I wanted to stay here because it looks so beautiful and picturesque. I’m the type of person that will look for the best hotels according to reviews and I was disappointed with this place. We checked in late at night extremely tired and excited to wake up the next morning to visit the palace. Our rooms air conditioning didn’t work, it was extremely humid & it smelled really bad. We put the air conditioning on to the lowest temperature waited, & waited but nothing the windows were even wet with humidity. Finally calling the guy downstairs to come and fix it and he told us we had to wait for it to cool. Even though we’ve been waiting 4 hours & it is 3 in the morning. The bed & sheets smelled terrible not sure if it was because of the humidity of the room but it smelled really bad. We got moved to another room, and this one was cool & very clean. Finally being able to sleep for 2 hours then we got up for breakfast. The man at the breakfast room was so rude. Worst customer service I have EVER experienced in my life. We asked him for salt & he went on to point at all the tables that have salt on them and then realized that ours didn’t. I placed an order of omelet with him and he rolled his eyes walked away and then came back with a notepad. In conclusion, stay away from this place.
