Bien, mais sans accueil

l'hôtel est très bien positionné pour visiter Lisbonne, proche des moyens de transports (gare, bus, bus touristiques), proche de nombreux restaurants, quartier populaire avec une population diversifiée, mais la nuit pas de bruit et on s'y sent en sécurité. Couchage très agréable, salle de bain très petite, mais avec tout le nécessaire. Un seul défaut le petit déjeuner livré en chambre le soir pour les chambres avec frigo, sinon le matin un peu tard et pas de place pour prendre son petit déjeuner assis, dommage. Un petit déjeuner très copieux et pour tous les goûts, si une salle était prévue pour cela se serait beaucoup plus agréable et sympathique quand on voyage avec des amis. Le défaut retenu et bloquant, c'est qu'il n'y ait pas de réception et pas de contact direct avec une personne, uniquement par téléphone avec une personne qui parle uniquement l'anglais. Nous avions espéré avoir au moins un contact portugais. Difficile de communiquer quand on se débrouille qu'avec 3 mots d'anglais. Si on part tôt le matin (8h) et que l'on rentre tard le soir (21h30/22h) on ne croise personne, sauf un portier qui nous accueille avec un bonsoir et le sourire, mais pas possible d'avoir d'autres informations. Bref tout était très bien, mais un peu déçus par l'accueil.

Great for a short stay, bed was comfy, small balcony was great, high ceiling, clean bathroom. Easy to self checkin. Only negative thing is that it was a hot night so I had to sleep with the window open and the area can be quite noisy.

Do not let any negative reviews about Hotel Lisbon 5 deter you from staying there. It's absolutely lovely. My husband and I recently stayed there for a 48-hour layover, and we were thoroughly impressed with the room and staff. We arrived early, and they kept our bags for us while we explored the city and texted us when our room was ready. The surrounding area was NOT sketchy as some people have said. Maybe the graffiti on the surrounding buildings turned off people, but the entire city seemed to be"tagged" with graffiti, unfortunately. It doesn't mean the area is a bad area. We felt extremely safe walking to and from the hotel. The air conditioner worked very well and they had our room cooling for us upon check-in, thankfully, since it was really hot out. Their breakfast room was being remodeled, and they sent us a note informing us of that issue several weeks in advance, giving us the option for a breakfast refund or them leaving something at our door the evening before. There being no refrigerator in the room, we opted out and they kindly refunded that portion of the bill prior to our arrival. All in all, I highly recommend Hotel Lisbon 5 and would definitely make it my first choice hotel should we ever return to Lisbon. Five stars!

Although the hotel was lovely, the noise free m the restaurant next store - in particular the music - was ridiculous. The bass and singing just pounded our room morning and night.

Don’t book your stay here. The front desk staff was extremely rude and just had an attitude. The whole hotel smells like a sewer and when we complained they didn’t even provide an air freshener. The rooms have ac but the AC doesn’t work effectively the rooms were so hot we had the ac to the lowest setting and still woke up to sweat all over
