Hotel Lido

me and my partner stayed in Hotel Lido for 4 nights. The view from our room was great and our room was very clean and cosy. We got clean sheets and towels everyday and the room was also cleaned daily. The hotel is very conveniently located, only a 5 minutes walk to the train station where you can get the train to Cascais, Lisbon and Belem. However, there’s not much around in terms of restaurants, and bars. Also, the fridge in our room did not work which was very unfortunate. Apart from that, everything else was good, the WiFi service is very good and staff are friendly. For what we paid for, the hotel was perfect.

Clean and tidy, refurbished, very good breakfast. Our room small with no desk but balcony overlooking road good. In a quiet part of town but a 10 minute walk uphill from the station! Late check out at 12 noon very useful. Nice pool and jacuzzi pool.

The hotel is a great location, walking distance to the beach, albeit uphill on the way back after a few drinks you may struggle! The hotel itself is clean, our room was clean, we had no issues apart from our safe did not lock, they did fix this. No alcohol is served here but they don't have any issues with you bringing it back. there's not much to do here so you're best just to go to the beach bars. Breakfast was ok, you can also store luggage if you have to check out and have time to kill which is very handy. Wifi available but not great.

Well located hotel in Estoril, really amazing conduction for 3* hotel. The staff are a good standard on supporting, the restaurants around u can find for all type and prices... quite close to cascais and sea ( nice place for walking) . Enjoy also a swimming pool 😀good one!

I had two rooms in August 2017, one for my wife and me, and one for my teenage children. We all loved the hotel. The rooms had two single beds in them, a free empty fridge (unusually not stocked with overpriced alcohol), a safe (small daily payment required) and a HD flat screen tv, with up to 100 channels in many different languages. The rooms were cleaned daily and sheets changed every second day. Breakfast was first rate for a continental all-inclusive meal (I paid 15 euros each at another hotel last year). Hotel staff were lovely and helpful. Free wifi. We had a 5* time here!!

This is about 10 minute walk from the centre of Estoril and about 5 minutes to the Casino area. The hotel itself is quite small, with limited facilities but what they offer is generally pretty good. The hotel has a good sized garden with a decent sized pool. It also has a new block of rooms built in the garden. We had a pool room on the ground floor so we were literally 20ft from the pool. Despite that, the glazing was excellent and the room silent. Rooms are a good size, the beds ok, the bathrooms good. It was cleaned very well and it looks as if it is kept in good condition. The pool itself has sun for half the day, but the water was freezing! Really freezing. It was fine for a plunge to cool off but was uncomfortable after a while, hardly anyone braved the water for any time. The pool bar is DRY. They serve no alcohol. However, the menu says LIGHT BEER, so if you order a beer, it will be alcohol free not light beer that British people may expect. Also the staff in the bar are not very good. I speak English, Spanish and a bit of Portuguese, but they simply get things wrong. Wrong drinks, wrong food. The food itself is big and decent and well priced. Shame it is served by such terrible staff. Also, it is important to note that the pool bar is the only food served after breakfast, there is no restaurant. This is a bit odd for an hotel of this price. It made it feel a bit back packers... Despite it being clean, well maintained, it feels like a motel, or a value for money place, which it certainly was not. Despite it being close to the town, I am not sure I would chose to return.

I stayed here three nights, I chose it because of its proximity to Cascais Airport, and the price was reasonable. The staff are courteous and speak good English. The room was more than adequate for my stay; three nights. The breakfast was more than adequate to last the whole day with a good selection of items. The location is up the hill from the sea, but it's an easy walk down with a good selection of interesting things left or right along the seaside promenade. There are frequent trains into Lisbon, about 35 minutes, and 2.50 Euros for an adult. I enjoyed this stay, even though it was for work.

I have just returned home from Estoril having spent 8 nights at the Hotel Lido. The hotel is a pretty average 3 Star. The room was standard and comfortable with good Air Conditioning and a decent pool view. The room was cleaned to a good standard on a daily basis. The continental breakfast was good. The pool area was relaxing with a good sized swimming pool. All the staff were very friendly and helpful but the downside of this Hotel is the lack of a Bar that serves alcohol. The exterior of the hotel could also do with a paint as it looked grubby.

I stayed here with 5 other girls for a hen weekend, the no alcohol wasn't a put off as its only a 20 min walk to the Casino, bars and beach. The hotel was very clean, our room was cleaned every morning and the grounds every day. The pool was lovely and inviting. We were on 2 separate floors but that wasn't a problem as we could phone each room when needed. You do need to pay for the safe in the rooms but we decided 1 safe for our passport and money was enough so shared the cost. The breakfast was delicious and the croissants were so buttery :) The snack bar was ok for a quick lunch with big portions. The lady on reception our 1st night was very helpful. The hotel is situated in a quick area but after a night dancing away that was just what we needed to cure our hangovers. The club behind the Casino is open until 5am friday and saturday nights :) I would visit this hotel again for a quiet weekend away with the husband.

The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the estoril railway station. Rooms are spacious enough, with balcony and equiped with small fridge. Hotel staff is friendly and price was ok (42 EUR/ night).
