Nice hotel - across from Jeronimos monastery. Close walk to bus/tram and to the underground crossing to discovery monument (so also Tower of Belem. Breakfast buffet had enough variety, but the best part was the warm crispy pasteis de nata from the famous shop around the corner (the one with the lines!). Why wait in line - unless you need more. (That's a strong possibility.)

Ironically, this hotel was the priciest of our trip and the most disappointing. The room was very small and dark, and the carpets looked dirty. The breakfast made up for it to some degree as it was very good. It is probably its location and lack of other hotels nearby that allow them to charge so much.

We selected this hotel for its location in Belem. Not in the center of Lisbon proper, but with easy access to some of the "big hitters" of historical sites. Right across from the Monastery of St. Jerome, which itself is a huge complex, since it houses something like 4 museums, a 5 minute walk to the "coach museum" and a 20 minute walk to the Tower of Belem. Easy enough access to other location. If you are looking for the historical side, this is the place for you, if you ae looking for night life, not quite so much. The staff was fabulous and went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. Nuni, Filipa at the front desk/bar were the best and made our experience memorable! Thanks to all.

We arrived in Lisbon on a day when the temperature approached a hundred degrees. The Jeronimos 8 provided a cool, quiet respite located next door to the Jeronimos monastary. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There are good restaurants and a bakery around the corrner.

Hotel near the tram and bus lines that take you straight into center of town and only a minute taxi ride from the Congress Center. Cute flea market in park nearby on Sunday.

The room was very large and modern. The breakfast was the best and the staff could not have been nicer! We walked to many sites right outside from the hotel.
