We enjoyed the location of this hotel, close to train station, markets and sights to see. Loved the view of the castle from our window. They held our luggage so we could explore the city until we could check in. I requested a hot pot for our room and they provided us with one.

Great location. Good breakfast with variety of choices. The room was clean but very small (no chair or even space to open luggage properly). The 2 star ranking shows - no extra towels (only 1 for both face and hands), no kettle/tea/coffee/fridge in the room, very modest room amenities. The staff at check in missed that my reservation already included breakfast. If I haven't double checked when I got back to my room, they would have charged me twice.

Staff were helpful. The room was clean. It was smaller than expected but we didn't spend too much time in the room apart from sleeping in. There is no kettle in the room but you can ask for one from reception, which we did. It was quite noisy in the early hours of the morning because the hotel is on a tourist street where there are restaurants. The metro and rail lines are nearby so it was convenient.

Breakfast was superb. Staff was excellent, especially Denise, who went above and beyond to assist us with directions, dining, etc... We gave the hotel 4 stars overall, because of the all night noise from the homeless people residing on the street outside of our window. They could be observed dealing drugs, lighting cooking fires on the street, and yelling and fighting into the night. Too bad, because this hotel excelle in so many areas!

This was a nice hotel in a good location for Lisbon. We walked or used Uber mostly getting it at the Hard Rock Cafe or just up the street. There is a wonderful brunch restaurant about a blockto the right of the hotel. The Italian restaurant to the right of our hotel, on the left side is excellent. We ate there twice. The Portuguese restaurant right next to the hotel was good for lunch and the people were very nice. We didn’t have a car and didn’t need one for this location. We enjoyed the Tuk Tuk ride, the Fada concert, tram 28, we tried to do the sailing trip, but it was raining. Recommend that you bring umbrellas, but if you forget, we were able to pick them up for five euros each. even in the rain we enjoyed Lisbon.
