We arrived at noon and check in is 2 pm. They allowed us to use the kitchen area and lounge till check in which was appreciated. I was a bit disappointed that there were no cards, games, dominoes etc in the living room. Nothing at all to pass the time. Kitchen facilities sufficient for cooking etc. Showers were clean with good water pressure. You are able to hear people walking on the wooden floors, closing doors etc and there is a bell at the entrance which you can hear quite loudly when someone buzzes to be let in. There are cheap coffee shops all around and a supermarket that is a 3 minute walk away. Not exactly in a "tourist" area. I would only recommend a one night stay as we did.

Convenient and clean hostel

Great location and a comfortable hostel in general. A few minus points: - as the towels are not provided as a rule we were not asked at the check in if we need them - the soap dispenser in the bathroom had soap on the first day only and hasn't been refilled for four days - Wi-Fi signal is very weak, at least on the 4th floor, so internet was practically unavailable I'd definitely stay again especially if the Wi-Fi issues can be resolved

I didn’t really care for the location. There were few restaurants. Lots of Pastry shops and Bodegas. I did have breakfast included...otherwise it was $4 E .however it was a Sandwich and a banana with a juice box, just left in the in a brown paper bag with my name on it. I thought that was odd. And a bit Expensive!

Problem with check-in

Actual hostel was very nice, clean and well managed. 3 stars given as our flight got in after the dedicated check-in time and sent a message over a week before arrival explaining this, which was read but not replied to. When we did arrive found it was closed and we were stranded. This would of been fine if we were pre-warned and could have booked a separate hotel for that night.

Clean and cheerful hostel

Located in a beautifully maintained old building near a metro stop, Be My Guest hostel exceeded expectations. The staff were wonderfully kind, accommodating and professional. Rooms were spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The entire place was impeccably clean, including the shared bathrooms. The hostel is a bit far from the centre of the city for walking (about 3km) it was a nice quiet neighbourhood to come back to at the end of the day and very conveniently located to several bus stops and the metro.

Nice and clean, but no hostel environment

Room was nice and clean, with a balcony as well, the bed was comfy, the free breakfast very pretty good. BUT there was no hostel environment and almost no facilities. Very basic. Too basic.

The rooms were like described. The staff was always very helpfull and friendly. The beds are not the most confortable but for an hostel they are OK. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy during the night because it is a old building close to the street. You will get a breakfast in a bag (sandwich, fruit, juice, cereal bar and coffee/tea) and for the price that you pay I would say that is quite nice. The hostel is very close to the technical university and well connected to the center. For me it was a bit hard to contact the hostel by facebook/gmail so in case you have the same problem I advice you to call them.

Great place, very clean all newly renovated. The staff were super helpful and we got a ride back to airport for a great price. May not be downtown but it was so close to the subway you could make it down there in no time.

Bed bug 씨뺢샒기들 I was in 3 days. I don’t understand why they got high score in trip adivisor. I asked to reception at first day there is a bed. But she said that there’s no bed bug. But i caught bed bug in last day. It’s disgusting. 베드버그는 기본아닌가.. 하아 생각하고싶지 않다

un buon ostello

abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura a settembre , camera matrimoniale con bagno condiviso in comune , la stanza si è presentata molto pulita ,letto molto comodo ,arredamento molto particolare ,ma bello .no aria condizionata ,no ventilatori ,no televisione in stanza . il bagno condiviso in comune l abbiamo trovato sempre molto pulito , c'è una ragazza che si occupa del piano ed lo pulisce appena esce la persona . la struttura si presenta su 3 piani ,no ascensore ogni piano è dotato di cucina con tutto il necessario ,2 bagni comuni e sala con televisione . personale molto gentile . la zona si trova ad arrios (fermata metropolitana ) sotto l albergo trovi bar, negozi , alimentari , ecc. molto servita . l'albergo lo consiglio a chi non ha troppe pretese ,economico e funzionale

Mooi en schoon hotel op een goede locatie vlak bij de metro. De kamers zijn hygiënisch en de badkamers nieuw. Echter was de beloofde WiFi een totale aanfluiting. Verder zijn de kamers niet geventileerd, wat slapeloze nachten oplevert in het snikhete Lissabon. Ten slotte werd het beloofde ontbijt pas om 9:00 uur geleverd, waardoor je niet vroeg richting de stad kan.
