Unique place to stay

Overall, we really liked our stay. It has a nice vibe. It’s right on a river and we enjoyed sitting on a swing bench watching the water. There’s a fire pit which we didn’t take advantage of. No free breakfast. The shower head was possibly the lowest in history so if you’re tall like me, showering was difficult. The staff was A+ going out of their way to accommodate the guests in a unlucky situation (power outage which meant we couldn’t use the heat on a very cold night and they were out bringing us extra blankets and checking on all the guests).

Comfortable mattress, quiet location. Motel is old, some updating done but has strong musty odor of an old building. Thin walls, door knob lock with a real metal key was very difficult to get unlocked. Affordable price, close to river in back of building.

First impressions are deceiving. Mid century motel but well taken care of. Very clean. Room was quiet and comfortable. Plently of hot water. Simple economy but I was very comfortable. Bed was good. No frills but i dlepted very wery. Mom and Pop owned and the owners were very friendly.

My child got 1st and 2nd degree burns on his stomach, within 5 mins of being in the room. There was a Keurig machine on low table and unbeknownst to me, it was plugged in and full of water. When I was unpacking, my child touched it and got burned. When I talked with the owner, he offered no empathy and said “oh okay”. The rooms are musty smelling and outside of each room is an ashtray. Lots of people were smoking cigarettes outside of their rooms. It is not a child friendly establishment.

The owners were very nice. The unit I stayed in was bit dated. The room was hot with the air conditioning running full. The sheets were stained, otherwise the unit was clean. I felt that the nightly price was a bit high for this property.

What a wonderful stay we had. Listening to the river right outside the window was so peaceful and relaxing. The owner was very kind and always waved hello when he saw us. The room was large. Large tv with Roku. Bed was comfy. Small refrigerator worked well for our drinks and leftovers. Just a great stay. We will absolutely be back.

Mount Coolidge Motel in Lincoln NH

We would definitely stay here again. The owners were very nice and helpful. The room was super clean and the grounds are well maintained. Has a nice pool and there is a sitting area in back of the motel where you can sit and watch a small river and also grills and a fire pit to have a fire.

Family fun in the mountains

Our family has stayed at a few places in the Franconia notch region and The Mt. Coolidge inn stands out because it’s run by a family! Has great rates, and is a stay sandwiched between a wonderful river and a clean warm pool! The best of both water worlds in the mountains of NH! We will be going back to stay again next year!
