Really nice hotel, with great design and décor. The staff were lovely. And the locals I was working with said it was the nicest hotel in Lima. I didn't use the pool/ tennis courts and various other facilities but they looked like lots of fun.

Arrived from the airport and greeted at check in with a welcome drink. Quick check in and had assistance with the bags to the room. Room was clean and modern. Had an issue with the hair dryer not working, but house keeping brought a replacement with in 5 minutes of phoning reception. English Bar served a strong Pisco Sour and great appetisers. Had dinner in the restaurant, and reservations are required. We were there on a Wenesday night, and between a wedding reception and a Land Rover Corporate event there was a lot going on. Once in the rooms it is quite and comfortable. We did not fly out until late the next day. Our bags were kept safe all day, and staff phoned for Green Taxis to take us to the airport. Easy location for getting to the airport, even in rush hour it only took us 40 minutes.

Another historic beauty of a hotel. The rooms are modernized without losing the antique feel of this old classic. Our favorite part is the restaurant which is always bustling and has delicious breakfast, great lunch and a lively cocktail hour. Dinner on the patio also excellent. Keep in mind that many at the restaurant are not guests at the hotel testimony to the strength of the restaurant. The pool is somewhat limited and they were doing a lot of renovation while we were there, so much so that the paint thinner smell made us run height the lobby. Also there are a ton of events here so people coming and going all day. Still the service did not seem to falter and besides the construction, it was a great stay.

My wife and I spent four nights at the Country Club Lima Hotel in late November of 2017. Originally constructed as a posh getaway for wealthy Limenos in the 1920's in what was then the outskirts of the city, the place has retained some of the flavor of that bygone era. Thanks to this provenance, its fine location in San Isidro, and the generally high caliber of its hotel as well as restaurant offerings, it deserves the five stars. Our only quibble was that the pipes from the toilets (at least in our room) were too narrow, a problem that we had run into years earlier in rural Mexico, so that one had to call the hotel plumber due to a clogged toilet and then be informed that the little baskets next to the toilet were designed for the discard of the used toilet paper. Suggestion to the hotel: Post information in the bathroom explaining the situation, or, better yet, go to the expense of upgrading the pipes. Still, not a problem to lose a star over. The highlight of our stay at the Country Club LIma was the personal service accorded us by the Head of Reception, Marianella Ramirez-Corzo, who went far beyond anything that one could possibly have expected of her, when she rushed my wife to a medical clinic in her own automobile on the heels of a falling accident that my wife had suffered in our room at the hotel. She sat with us through the x-ray and treatment process and then drove us back to the hotel. This kind of caring typified our experience at the Country Club Lima. Finally, for those visitors who view Lima as simply a jumping off point for a trip up to Cuzco and Machu Picchu, please rethink your itinerary and give delightful Lima a few days.

We stayed here after our visit to Cuzco and Machu Picchu and it was a quiet, beautifully maintained and highly civil to which to return in Lima. I cannot think of a better spot to rest and enjoy only good things. Staff was welcoming, friendly, efficient and nothing but professional. Our suite was lovely. A long lunch with friends in the afternoon with excellent ceviche and pisco sours made for a perfect stay. It is, to my mind, better than all of the other multi stars in Lima. Go. You will not be disappointed

We arrived Tuesday January 23 in the morning, and left Wednesday January 24 in the morning, a total of less than 24 hours. We were charged for 2 days. Not happy about that. It's not a good way to encourage us to stay at this hotel on our future business visits.

This place is beautiful, with wonderful staff and everything you could ask for. Luxurious suites and a beautiful atmosphere set amongst park-like grounds, close to all amenities. We enjoyed our stay here immensely and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This hotel is the ABSOLUTE most beautiful hotel in Lima. Location is fantastic. Rooms are appointed with every luxury you could desire...staff available at all times. The public rooms all contained beautiful paintings, flowers abounded on tables...Service in the restaurant or bar was great. The outside grounds offer a secluded pool, surrounded by the local lush vegetation. Valet parking was available, should you require.
