From the moment we arrived, we were treated so graciously. The property is stunning, and the staff is 5-star all the way. We were beyond thrilled. Special shout-outs to Paula (reception/check-in), Antonio (restaurant), and Brian (bar) for their above-and-beyond fine service. The only improvement that needs to be made is that the food is not very hot--it is very good, just not hot.
This has to be one of my favourite hotels. The service is excellent and this is one of the rare places I have sent a personal message to the chef, complimenting him on an excellent steak. Staying at this hotel is like staying in a museum of colonial era art and antiquities. The furniture and much of the artwork on display is clearly from the 17th century and adds a real touch of old world charm and class to a fantastic hotel. Well located and with an excellent bar and restaurant on site. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with beautiful bathrooms and a high level of cleanliness throughout. I would always recommend staying here when in Lima.
This hotel is the perfect choice for your trip to Lima. The property is absolutely stunning you won’t want to leave. The staff are so helpful and attentive. The food is to die for! I’d definitely recommend staying here.
I loved everything about this hotel. The entrance is Grand, the lobby is impressive. The beds are clouds (most important thing for me, second is a working desk with good light). And the staff was exceptional. Consider this hotel on your next trip to Lima, it will not disappoint!!!
I can't say enough nice things about our stay at the Country Club Lima Hotel. The room was beautiful; the bed was so comfortable, with lovely linens and pillows; the food was delicious. And, in my opinion, the staff was the crowing touch. Everyone, from the front door to the reception desk, to the wait staff, to the housekeepers -- without exception -- made us feel like we were the only ones in the hotel. Looking forward to returning!
Country Club Lima Hotel was the best hotel that we stayed at during our recent tour of South America. It really is a beautiful hotel with very good staff. Our bedroom was spacious & very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Need I say more? The accommodations, staff and amenities were second to none. Loved this place. I traveled to Lima for the first time and friends in the San Isidro area recommended this hotel. I was not disappointed and will return.
The staff was friendly and helpful, Although a smallish hotel, it has all the amenities. Beautiful grounds, spacious room, even a tea time. Just outside the Miraflores area. The concierges were able to answer all my question. Only complaints were that the elevator was out and gym was not open.
The Country Club Hotel Lima (“CC”) is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World Group. As such, we have come to appreciate the general high quality of their hotels. CC does not disappoint. Formerly an old mansion, CC is now a beautiful hotel with a combination of old world charm and up to date modern conveniences. Located opposite the Lima Golf Club, CC is well located in the up scale San Isidro neighborhood of Lima. Our family had three superior rooms, which were well designed/decorated with generous bathrooms. The staff was friendly, competent and English bi-lingual. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
We stayed here at the end of Peruvian trip. We wanted a place that was comfortable, well located, and well priced- the Country Club met all our needs. The room was small but we were in the lowest category of rooms and it still was spacious enough. The bathroom was lovely. Only drawback was that the windows were all frosted over so there was no view view of anything but we were on the ground floor so it may have been to our advantage. Don't miss the Bar Ingles- best pisco sours we had in Peru! The setting is beautiful too. The breakfast was a large buffet that upscale hotels often do. It was great for Sunday brunch but we skipped it on Monday. Be sure to explore the hallways and check out the photos of old Lima. This grand dame of a hotel has many stories to tell! She is elegant yet updated. The free wifi was fast and the decor was tasteful and updated.
