Very cozy hotel (good, clean room if you stay on the upper floor). Yes, it's a bit old/dated, but everything we saw was spotlessly clean, so for us the old furniture just gave it a cozy atmosphere. Owners were very friendly & helpful (they kept speaking English to us though, while we were practicing our Spanish :p). Location is within walking distance of the Miraflores center and it felt very safe to walk there even at night. Only negative thing would be that they don't serve breakfast (though it says on booking.com that they do), but on the other hand: they did let us use dishes and the microwave from their kitchen. Also nice: owner printed our tickets for us on the last day. And they have a book exchange with novels & travel guides.

My youngest daughter and I travelled to Peru to visit one of my other daughters who lives in Trujillo (Peru) for one year. We wanted to meet in Lima so I booked B&B Tradiciones. When we landed at 4.30 am somebody waited for us to bring us to the hostal. There we were greeted as we were old friends. Everybody was so friendly to us. We could use our room which was so nice and clean immediatelly. At 7.00 am my daughter who lives in Trujillo arrived and we sat in the beautiful garden, drank coffee and felt very comfortable. The owner's son helped us in every situation and he gave us lots of advice. Breakfast was so tasty . We loved it. And we loved staying in this hostal. Thank you für everything. We would like to come again.

My boyfriend and I used Tradiciones as our home base in Lima for our trip to Peru. Paco, the owners son, helped us out in any way he could and made us feel right at home! We love you Paco! The rooms are simple and comfortable with hot water and filtered water so you don’t have to buy bottled water! We loved our time here (4 nights over two weeks) and highly suggest it! They will send a taxi to the airport if you request it and it was such a relief when we arrived at 5am. Paco also let us into our room early so we could have a quick nap before starting our day. Do yourself a favour and stay here. You won’t regret it! - Erin and Alex

Stayed here for 3 nights at the start of my holiday to Peru. Great location and the room was very clean. Paco is an awesome guy and gave some great travel tips. Thanks as well to Angelo for the history lesson. Would stay here again if I’m back in Lima. Highly recommended.

Angelo and his family were so helpful and attentive with all of our needs. They provided key services such as an airport pickup and drop off for myself my friend, and my mom. They gave recommendations for great restaurants in the area as well as a map highlighting sightseeing routes to take around the city. Having the amenities of a great breakfast, coffee, hot shower, local knowledge, and clean place to stay are so important when arriving to a new area. We felt safe, and well cared for during our entire stay. I highly recommend this place, and will return!

We had the pleasure of saying here 2 nights before our amazing trip in Peru come to a bitter end. The owners, all family members, were the best to work with, just so accommodating. They don't take Visa and even though we got in late and arrived without replenishing our funds first they were gracious enough to let us pay the following day. Paco, the son, gave us a map of the town and a tutorial. I have we say we hit everything on the list! The breakfast is served outside in their beautiful lush patio. Everything you need they provide (towels, hot showers, comfy beds, clean rooms) or can direct you in the right location (stores, taxis, restaurants). Over all the experience at Tradiciones was like visiting a long last friend. We did trouble connecting to their wifi, but weren't around long enough to bother mentioning it.

The hosts are absolutely amazing! We only stayed for 1 night but they arranged transport for us prior to our stay and were happy to give us a long list of recommendations regarding everything about Lima (and Cusco as well). The included breakfast was wonderful and the accommodation was comfortable and well located. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Good location breakfast and accommodations. The helpful staff /family made our trip to Lima great. They gave us lots of tips and a lot of cultural background of Lima and Peru We will be back to miraflores

I stayed at B&B tradiciones my first day of arrival in Lima. The family are absolutely wonderful and amazing and the nicest people I've met. They make you feel right at home which was great since I was travelling alone and that makes your first arrival in a new city a lot more easier and comfortable. They are so helpful in recommending places to visit and eat and go beyond just servicing you. I definitely recommend this place for your stay in Lima. If you are looking for a place to feel safe and well looked after you definitely will find it here. A home away from home. Special thanks to the owners son Paco who made this stay a lot more fun and interesting :)

Angelo is a wonderful host, he welcomed us into his hotel and met our needs. They have great service, clean linens, hot water, informative service, speaks Spanish and English, fresh breakfast and located within walking distance of the coast. We had a group of 14 and it was just perfect.
