The house had everything we needed and more. A crib and highchair were provided and each bedroom had everything you need while on vacation. Great place for our family to stay in Lexington. Plenty of bathrooms and multiple living spaces gave everyone room to be comfortable. Just was extremely friendly and easy to reach out to for information.

The house was perfect for our visit. Fortunately the weather was mild and we could make full use of the deck off of the kitchen. Although the house initially looked small for 12 people there was plenty of room for us. My only comment for improvement would be the cleanliness of the house. The house needs a very thorough cleaning.

The property was exactly as pictured on line. Very well stocked with everything; towels, wash cloths, dishes, bed linen, etc. The basement is amazing with plenty of space. I had to contact the hostess about something minor and the response was timely. We had a great stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. From the outside, you’d never imagine the spaciousness offered across its three-level layout—it was a wonderful surprise. The house was impressively well-stocked with everything a family might need, making it exceptionally comfortable and convenient. Its close proximity to shopping areas was an added bonus. The host’s welcoming gift was such a kind and thoughtful gesture—we truly appreciated it and felt immediately at home. If we were to mention one area for improvement, it would be the cleanliness. A deep cleaning, both inside and especially on the deck, would elevate the overall experience. Unfortunately, some outdoor furniture wasn’t usable due to its condition. Even so, the positives far outweighed the negatives, and we would absolutely love to return for another stay.

Good but...

The house worked well for our little family get together; good layout, large gathering spaces and a practical location. However, it was not particularly clean, especially the kitchen (the sticky counters for starters). Better housekeeping would give it a higher rating.

Family gathering

We had 11 Adults and an infant. Everyone had a bed. Everything was in perfect working order in a good neighborhood. Folks out walking dogs and kids playing with other kids. Everyone seemed friendly. Close to shopping centers and food places. The cleaning team missed a few areas but we easily took care of it ourselves with minimal effort. There are many extras provided. Paper towels, TP and coffee items. I would rent here again.

Good Location

Several friends and I stayed at the house because we were attending an event at the Kentucky Horse Park. The house really is just off the freeway and a short 15 minutes from the park.

Black Mold and other repairs needed

I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but I never heard back from anyone when I reached out to the property manager about these issues. Hopefully they are busy fixing them because otherwise this house was great for a large group and close to Man O’War Blvd and I-75 and I-64. There is black mold and water damage in several of the bathrooms and laundry room Some of the lights are wired backwards and glow slightly when turned all the way off (bedroom straight ahead at the top of the stairs) Lots of light bulbs are burned out Several of the faucets are loose where they attach to the counters Some of the spindles in the railing on the back porch are broken, so we were nervous about letting small kids out there The downstairs master bath has a plugged drain The toilet in the half bath on the first floor runs.

Family trip to Distilleries & The Ark

Our large family stay here very comfortably. We did a couple distilleries and stay the night in Lexington before leaving in the morning for the Ark. We enjoyed the large living room downstairs to watch a movie and near by restaurants for takeout. Be sure to bring or stop and purchase bath soap and shampoo as this house does not supply any.

Good for LRKY3DE Weekend!

We were staying for USPC Exhibition Mounted Games competition at KHP during LRKY3DE and this property was GREAT! I only rated slightly less on cleanliness and description because of a couple of small things. Upon arrival a coupe of things hadn't been taken care of but a quick call and the Property Manager was prompt and courteous! The room/bed schematic was a little off but didn't affect us. We felt appreciated and well cared for! Great shopping and dining close and quick 15 minutes to the Horse Park! Would stay here again as a 1st Choice!

Spring Break '23

Check-in was super easy and location was perfect. Close to tons of shopping and restaurant options, and extremely convenient to the Kentucky Horse park, downtown Lexington, and the Ark. The property manager answered on the first call when we had a question about adjusting the thermostat for the basement level, and was nice and helpful. The size and layout of the house worked well for our group of 12, but would not have been ideal if we had our full group of 17 (5 had to cancel). One of the upstairs bedrooms with two beds had two twins instead of two queens like the listing. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay overall. Our favorite hang out was the back porch since we grilled a lot!

Nice home. Owner very easy to work with. Entry and home as described. Cleaning crew needs to improve. One rest room appeared not cleaned and all baths did not have ample toilet tissue. 😳. Likely a fluke.

2022 Family Thanksgiving

House has lots of space, plenty of beds to accommodate our group. Location was convenient to lots of parks, shopping and just a short drive to the Ark Encounter.
