The island of Saint Martin is beautiful! This hotel is right in the center of a lot of things. It has some great views. Getting a taxi was very easy. There were two employees in particular that went above and beyond in their day-to-day: Stephon at the bar and Justine at the reception. Those two employees made our time exceptionally well, despite having other rude encounters with staff. The rooms are OK and the adults only amenities are OK as well. I would rate this hotel a 7 out of 10.

Limited menus, why was the pool bar in the family pool of the resort. Why was red snapper or ma-hi ma-hi not on menus? Why was orient beach, one of the best in the world filled with ton measurements of seaweed or kelp? You couldn’t even walk on the beach. Island still has massive hurricane damage from 2017

My husband and I have visited a variety of all inclusive resorts and there were a few things that stood out compared to others. While the hotel had amazing views and some friendly staff, we were shocked how many employees were unfriendly. Many were on their cell phones especially bartenders. We constantly felt that we were inconveniencing them by asking for a drink. We would say good morning to employees we passed, and they would not speak to us. In other countries, employees seemed happy by us being there but here we felt completely opposite. We also were surprised by paper cups. The amount you pay to stay at this hotel, you would think we could at least have plastic cups. In addition, the drinks were inconsistently made by different bartenders. Some drinks just tasted terrible and they never seemed to care that drinks were just wasted. We stayed on the Ocean Point side and enjoyed the food. We never had to wait to be seated and the service was on point all but one night. We tried to eat on the Maho side but the lines were incredibly long. If you’re looking for a night life, this place is not it. There’s no dance club or really anything to do at night time. Unfortunately, we would not return to St Martin or recommend anyone to this hotel because of the overall unfriendly feeling by the employees.
