Poor meal In restaurant.

Booked dinner in the restaurant for my husband and myself. We were really disappointed as both gammon steaks were served cold. The waitress was very apologetic and offered us 20 percent discount on the meal price. Whilst this may seem ok, I think this was very poor considering the supposed rating of the hotel.

Handy location for airport and racetrack.

I was at Donington Park race track for a race meeting again. I uusally stay in the Radisson. It's ok, and handy. Not a cheap stay, considering. Room overlooking runway considered an 'upgrade'. No separate shower - just shower in bath, step in to use. Bar in lobby is ok, but there never seems to be enough seats or stools at the bar. Cold Moretti on draft is a bonus. I didn't eat in the restaurant this time - i have on occasions previously. I went to a pub in Castle Donington for dinner this time. Usual question - would i stay again? It's a Yes. Even though it doesn't seem to be value for money, it is certainly handy and clean.
