I cannot fault this hotel. We stayed for three nights and everything was excellent. The staff were very friendly. The room was comfy, clean and had all you would need. The breakfasts were fantastic with a great range of food to choose including dishes to order. We would go there again if in Loughborough.
Desk staff exceptionally helpful for my wife who is on crutches with a broken leg. Arranged a room right by the entrance with disabled facilities and a wheelchair to use. On the other hand, it was a bit on the pricey side (£116pn), and the fittings are a bit tired for that price. Also be aware that if visiting the university, they shut off direct road acces back to the hotel at 11pm, as we discovered at 11:15. It's a long and quite complicated route to get in from the other end.
This was my second stay at Burleigh Court and it didn’t disappoint. The whole place is modern, in good repair and clean. Well equipped with everything you would expect we wanted for nothing. Fairly well stocked bar and good food in the restaurant. We only had breakfast, but it was to a good standard. The staff are competent and friendly, which makes all the difference. The wife and I squeezed in a massage on the Saturday which I highly recommend. We’ll be back 😊
As a business traveller, I have stayed at hotels all over the world and this place rates with the best of them. Great food, fabulous staff and an excellent room. Thanks to all of the staff for making my stay an extremely enjoyable one.
We had a king size room which was immaculate, clean, neat, with lots of extras like tissues, toiletries, extensive tea/coffee options, bottles of water... It was a very quiet room, we had a comfortable and peaceful nights sleep. The pool facilities were great, again clean, quiet. Restaurant was the best we'd ever been to in terms of the amount of vegetarian options they have on the menu. We were really impressed! Friendly, helpful staff. We wish we lived nearer so we could stay again.
Not the best start when the staff tell you that you haven't got a room despite having email confirmation when they finally found my reservation and i got to my room to find some one else occupying it, when they checked they had given it to the wrong person staff obviously never checked I'd for the names. When they finally got me a room it was tired and could definitely do with up dating, almost ended up flooding the place due to a faulty shower. I would have rated lower if it wasn't for the restaurant and waiting staff were exemplary and the food is very good.
After a long and tiring day we arrived in the hotel to check in around 6 pm, but our booking got lost so we had to wait in the lobby. I guess it happens sometimes... The rooms were okay, nice and tidy. We had a couple of drinks at the bar, service was great, however for me it was too bright and too quiet there (at least dimmed light and some gentle music in the background would add a lot to the ambience). The breakfast was really good - the buffet selection of hot English breakfast components, granola and cereal station, fresh fruit, bread, pastries and juice station. The hotel should be more cautious with breakfast charging, our room rate didn’t have it included and no one actually noted that so we had to ask about it ourselves while checking out.
A one night stop over to a good hotel which is within the campus. Hotel offers good facilities including the sauna swim and jacuzzi. Staff quiet but helpful when required. We had a twin room which only had single duvets which means you lose it halfway through the night. Only one Breakfast tea bag for two people. Bathroom good and room clean and tidy. No extra blankets though. Restaurant good and food well presented. Good parking. Overall we’d come again.
Stayed for two nights whilst son was attending course at University. Hotel was ideally located. Pleasant twin room. Warm and clean. Staff very helpful. Only small niggles tv in room very small and Internet kept dropping out. Would stay again
We were sent here by TUI, after we found out our flight to Mexico had been delayed over 24 hours. All I can say is, what a gem of a hotel! We came here under the worst circumstances and expectations were pretty low. Well what an amazing surprise we had. The staff were the real plus here, they totally understood our predicament and made our stay the best it could be. From the moment we arrived everyone, without exception were so friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I can’t speak highly enough of this hotel and it’s staff; a huge thank you to you all!
