Disappointing stay
Not deluxe in any sense of the word and I was so disappointed with this apartment.
1. Apartment itself (and the building as a whole) had a bit of a weird smell about it.
2. Kitchen was missing the front of the oven door (glass front) so the handle was loose and felt unsafe to use.
3. Kick board in the kitchen was lying on the floor and you could see how dirty it was underneath the cupboards.
4. Kitchen floor had seen better days, felt sticky and gaps in the boards which were full of bits.
5. General decor was grubby and in need of some TLC.
6. Parking advertised as ‘on site’ which to me means the same building but was actually the Citi Car Park around the corner - it seems they deem ‘on site’ to be on the dock area.
Great location and felt very safe but definitely not as advertised and disappointed as I booked as a surprise for my sisters birthday and felt like we had been a bit misled. I book lots of hotels personally and professionally and very rarely feel the need to write a negative review but in this case feel it is justified as the apartment you get is not what I believe is on offer.
