Good but the house is too hot - NO - Air Conditioning
The property is large and very good but there was NO functioning Air Conditioning.
Also if we opened the windows the mosquitoes and flies enter the house; there are no screens on the windows.
I've booked several villas with VRBO in the past; A/C is always a key feature that I look for in the property details.
Sleeping at night was very difficult due to the lack of ventilation. In this case, A/C was in the property details but the units were not functioning in the entire house.
Yes the pool area was superb; however there was an extreme amount of flies which made it uncomfortable; not sure why.
The check in process was Okay but only in Italian (but we made it work). The non functioning A/C was mentioned but no reason was given as to why it wasn't functioning.
Allow me to suggest that a book should be made available in various languages (english, french, spanish etc) detailing the functioning of the property, the general area and locations of grocery stores, restaurants etc. All other VRBO properties have such information booklet.
Again; with the hot weather in Southern Italy and for a rental property of this quality and costs should have functioning A/C: otherwise remove this feature from your website; I would not have booked it had I known this fact. I would have chosen another villa in the Puglia area.
Also: a few more towels for the pool and kitchen towels would be nice.
Sorry to be complaining; but our wives were not pleased with the lack of Air Conditioning..........
