Room felt like a very comfortable studio apartment. Staff were very nice and it was super quiet for most of my stay. The only downside was the power went out for 29 hours and there was no water or power to the room. It was outside their control but they provided updates as they got them. Didn't get compensation or anything for that part of my stay and couldn't afford anywhere else to stay remotely warm. It was great otherwise.

This was an old resort with terrible conditions. No food no elevator and one employee. We decided not to stay and requested a refund which was denied. The advertisement and promotion for this place is a sham.

Dated but Charming

I think this was an old lake resort. The exterior is in disrepair, the pool is out of commission, and the decore is dated to the point of quirky. But, the staff is friendly, the room was immaculate, and it has an overall charm that we thoroughly enjoyed. My only recommendation would be for more pillows... there aren't enough on the bed to prop yourself up to watch TV.

I greatly enjoyed my weekend getaway. Al was very professional and polite and even upgraded my room. It was very clean and I loved the aesthetic of the hotel. It felt like staying at a relatives house. It is located in nature and I experienced being within a few feet of deers on the property, which was a beautiful sight. I will definetly be back.

Expedia had the wrong check-in time. The real time is 3pm. Some buildings on the large property are not in great shape, thought they are not in use currently. It seems they are working on refurbishing some of them. I look forward to visiting again to see how they turn out. Security is good, with cameras in public areas, keycards for entry into the buildings, and codes to get into rooms.
