If you're looking to use Wi-Fi here, don't book. Had issues connecting with Wi-Fi daily on my smartphone. Pool was nice although crowded with multiple pools closed.

The beds were comfortable and the room clean. However there was a lack of hot water for showers.

Nice Hotel, great pools and excellent location, will go back in the future

We booked a king room and they did not have one. Woman at desk was not very nice. She gave us a questionable two bed room and when my husband took off his shoes the floor between the beds was soaked. Some how they found a king bed room and we changed rooms. I think I would go somewhere else next time.

thjs is my second time staying here and I love it!! The rooms are specious and very clean. It's in a good location as well.

The Tropicana was a nice place to stay. It is on the end of the Strip closest to the airport. Some hotels around it are Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, and MGM Grand. There are foot bridges that go across the roads for safety. Unfortunately the foot bridge between the Tropicana and MGM Grand was out due to renovations. It took a lot of time to go around. The food is quite expensive, but there are lots of buffets. Make sure to catch the Mirage volcano and the Bellagio water shows. Don't forget to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower. The view is really nice, especially when the sun is starting to set. Ethel M's chocolate factory was delicious.

Nice hotel, clean, within walking distance to everything on the strip

Housekeeping did not replace soap, clean glasses or complimentary water. Has 4 staying in room, only 2 sets of towels given each day. Had to call everyday

They do not do "pre check in" when check in time comes in you have to check in with everyone else. We were not given any map, tour, anything but our room key! Room was dirty, we did not have hot water to shower! Balcony is so small definitely not what they show in the picture!

Nice location, housekeeping was great, room was comfortable and clean,

Liked the casinos. Price kind of high on food and beverages though.

Hotel was clean and staff was very nice. Had to wait to get into my room until 4 pm. Overall experience was nice. One inconvenience was that the bridge to MGM was closed. My prior stay at Tropicana, the bridge to Excalibur was closed.

I understand staff are extremely busy and sometimes people have bad days. However, I feel like the hotel needs some updates and staff was rude. We got there at 12 and they told us that our room wasn't ready but they'd call when it was and that standard check in is at 3. (what I expected, although every other hotel in Vegas has gotten me in early) So we left our bags with the bell desk and went to get groceries. We got back at probably exactly 3pm and no one had called me. I left my boyfriend and our many bags at the door and went to ask for a luggage cart. They told me I couldn't have one until I had a room... Rude, but I got a room (they never called) and went back to the desk to ask again for a rack and they'd already sent one out (why not just do that before??) so I ran out to let the guy know I had a room so we could go up there. He told us no- we'd have to leave our things at the desk and call when we were in the room. (What?) So we went to the room which was really hard to find because the elevators don't give any indication as to which rooms they service and there were no maps. We called immediately and it took over an hour for them to bring our things. We were almost late for the show we had tickets for since we didn't get our things until 20 minutes before we had to go! The room also just felt old. Not "Vegas-y" at all.

...the Tropicana (now a Hilton, although not branded as such) is a pretty nice place. My only gripe is that my room was in the tower in the rear of the building, and it was a bit of a hike to get there - through a smoky casino. But that's not unusual in LV. Comfy mattresses, four nice big pillows per bed (you could learn from this, Country Inns And Suites!), lots of hot water (in the desert no less).

In close proximity to other casinos on the strip. Rooms are outdated but clean. Our room's carpet had stains but otherwise clean and comfortable. Landscape is beautiful.

Love the Tropicana, pool area is awesome..Staff very friendly..

Really nice, the food is also really good. The staff was nice. The room was clean, and they didn't ignore the do not disturb sign on the door!

A couple of items to note when staying here, during the winter months you cannot change the temperature of the room. It was far to warm for our comfort despite being given a fan. Also, we were upgraded to a "garden view" room which was lovely until that garden was turned into a outdoor club/party meaning that our sleep was disrupted until 5AM by loud music. We were compensated when we complained but that didn't make up for the lost nights sleep.

I've stayed in several hotels in Las Vegas but this one was just pretty boring. Nothing really bad, but nothing really great either. The cost was good and it was clean.

Enjoyed the stay at Tropicana. Hotel is clean, nicely appointed and has all expected amenities. When my room key wouldn't work in the middle of the night, hotel staff saw me struggling and delivered a new key to me at my door. So helpful!

Thank you Ruth for your feedback. We truly appreciate the time you took to offer your valuable feedback. I am terribly sorry to know your entire stay did not meet and exceed your expectations. Refrigerators are on request and the bridge will be opened later this month.
