Tropicana Las Vegas - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel

The hotel was nice and staff was nice and helpful.

Paradise Towers needs a makeover. The bathroom was outdated and the shower leaked.

I was expecting a delux room but the room we got is much less that we expected. I believe we were given the lesser.

Every thing was fine except for my check out experience. I was about to check out when I received an email saying my flight was cancelled due to weather conditions in Houston. Hurricane Harvey was dumping rain on the city. I explained my situation to the desk clerk but she was inconsiderate. She quoted me an extremely high price for an extra night. I needed more than an extra night. I was told by the Airline that the earliest flight into the city was on the following Wednesday. People just seems to care about making money.

For the price, not bad at all. The parking alone was enough of a reason for us to stay here as we had a huge moving van that most hotels could not accommodate. Very easy to get in and out of traffic, really pleased with the location. We were in the older part of the hotel so make sure you are able to walk and don't mind the walk - its a long walk to the garage. The room was perfectly fine for us. Most importantly, it was clean and comfortable. The only negative was lack of a fan in the bathroom but really, that's truly the only negative aspect - probably not worth mentioning at all.

Good hotel close to the Monirail, a lot of amenities, easy acces to any point in Las Vegas Blvd.

Check in staff was rude. Slightly dirty in hall ways. The location was great!

Room was clean and in good repair and for the most part it was comfortable as well. The biggest problem is the room have louvered windows to flip open or close for light control. It was impossible to get a dark enough room to sleep. There are no curtains! The very bright Las Vegas light kept bleeding through. I complained to a manager to no avail! I will NEVER stay at the Tropicanna again!

If you're looking to use Wi-Fi here, don't book. Had issues connecting with Wi-Fi daily on my smartphone. Pool was nice although crowded with multiple pools closed.

The beds were comfortable and the room clean. However there was a lack of hot water for showers.

Nice Hotel, great pools and excellent location, will go back in the future

We booked a king room and they did not have one. Woman at desk was not very nice. She gave us a questionable two bed room and when my husband took off his shoes the floor between the beds was soaked. Some how they found a king bed room and we changed rooms. I think I would go somewhere else next time.

thjs is my second time staying here and I love it!! The rooms are specious and very clean. It's in a good location as well.

The Tropicana was a nice place to stay. It is on the end of the Strip closest to the airport. Some hotels around it are Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, and MGM Grand. There are foot bridges that go across the roads for safety. Unfortunately the foot bridge between the Tropicana and MGM Grand was out due to renovations. It took a lot of time to go around. The food is quite expensive, but there are lots of buffets. Make sure to catch the Mirage volcano and the Bellagio water shows. Don't forget to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower. The view is really nice, especially when the sun is starting to set. Ethel M's chocolate factory was delicious.

Nice hotel, clean, within walking distance to everything on the strip

Housekeeping did not replace soap, clean glasses or complimentary water. Has 4 staying in room, only 2 sets of towels given each day. Had to call everyday

They do not do "pre check in" when check in time comes in you have to check in with everyone else. We were not given any map, tour, anything but our room key! Room was dirty, we did not have hot water to shower! Balcony is so small definitely not what they show in the picture!

Nice location, housekeeping was great, room was comfortable and clean,

Liked the casinos. Price kind of high on food and beverages though.

Hotel was clean and staff was very nice. Had to wait to get into my room until 4 pm. Overall experience was nice. One inconvenience was that the bridge to MGM was closed. My prior stay at Tropicana, the bridge to Excalibur was closed.

Thank you Lee for your review. We’re sorry we didn’t provide the high quality of services you deserve. This is not typical of our hotel and staff. I will forward your comments regarding the room curtains to the Hotel Operations Team. We try to make each guest experience a great one at our hotel as your satisfaction is important to us. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope you’ll give us another opportunity to make it right.
