Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino

The room was clean but outdated. The carpets are worn out through out the hotel. Stale cigarette smoke smell in the room. Very little air circulation in the room. Pool size small for the size of the hotel. The staff is very friendly helpful and courteous. The buffet is good for the price. Would probably stay there again

very nice property. Hotel staff was great and room was outstanding!

First no bus pickup from the plane to the hotel for free like the website says. The golden nuggets main attractions the pool was down. All these hidden resort fees. Honestly I will never visit Vegas again because I this experience.

This was my second time in Vegas. The first time we stayed at the plaza across the street from the golden nugget. I decided to experience the golden nugget, and I dont think I'll be staying anywhere else in the future. I got a great price only 4 days before my arrival, so I didnt think twice about accepting the upgrade for $20 a night to the rush tower. Our room was great. I loved the seating area. Our friends staying at the strip were very pleased with our room when they came up for drinks. Our bathroom was very spacious. I loved the fact that they had snacks at the elevator lobby. And, fresh fruit as well. The only issue was that we went to sleep pretty late Friday night..(6am sat). We had our view to the pool. We stayed in room 16-11. At 8am I woke up to the music coming from the pool area. I just put in my ear plugs that were provided by the hotel and went back to sleep. I loved that I couldn't hear anything from the room next to us...or the hallway.. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great food. Restaurants are excellent. Starbucks in lobby is great too. Gold Tower king bed was really nice. They only bad part was that the pool / shark tank / water slide was under construction while we were there (May 2017) so that was a bummer.

We went for a 4 day weekend in celebration of a wedding. The hotel has friendly staff, clean, all around good facility. The shark tank and slide was out of order but we will definitely be coming back the next time we make our way to Vegas! Everyone was so nice, helpful & it was an all around wonderful experience. We have stayed there a few times before & keep coming back!

Dependable hotel and casino. Would return for another visit

Only thing I can suggest is call before you get there and book a cabana they fill fast. The water slide was also closed and was one of the main things I would have liked to do. Stayed here before and will continue to choose this one over the others.

The Nugget never disappoints with all the great restuarants, gaming and Freemont street.

I was disappointed that the fish tank was under construction the four days that I was there that is the only reason why I booked to stay at that hotel because I love love love that fish tank the room was very smoky I complained and they spray some air freshener but the smell was still there did not enjoy my trip

Enjoyed my stay. Always at at Golden Nugget when staying downtown.

The stay was very comfortable and peaceful. The golden nugget display was very impressive.

The Golden Nugget is modern and beautifully decorated. Everything you need is located within the hotel, whether it be dining, shopping, gaming, lounging by the pool. When you step out the door, you are in the heart of the Fremont Experience. The staff was very responsive when I had a concern.

This was our first time staying on Fremont and we'd heard such great things about the Golden Nugget. All, mostly, true. It was a fantastic hotel with great restaurants and right on Fremont. My only complaint was that the "world famous" shark tank in the pool was down for service :( it was one of the reasons we chose Golden Nugget, so I was hugely disappointed that it wasn't available. But we still had a great time in the adults only pool, met so many wonderful people and amazing staff! Oh, and I had the best birthday ever!! :)

Starbucks in the lobby, a must. Awesome build-your-own Bloody Mary.

I have stayed here before. Always been a good experence

Very upsetting. We planned a trip with the kids for the 1st time and met up with friends with kids. The shark tank water slide was not open it was being remodeled. It did not say anywhere on the website that it was closed. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Pool aquarium was under construction. Reserved a king bed and got a twin. And THE NUGGET WAS GONE blah blah blah blah blahhhhhh&hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The room in the Rush Tower was awesome! It was spacious, clean, and updated. My only complaint... My room overlooked Freemont Street and the noise vibrated the walls until 2:00 AM every night. The earplugs they provide do very little to block out the sound. If you are planning to stay out until 2:00 AM every night, one of these rooms will be prefect for you. But if you are there on business (like I was) and have to get up at 5:00 am every day, request a room that doesn't overlook Freemont Street.

Stayed at the Golden Nugget four years in a row now but was disappointed this year with the resort fee items we did not get. Was suppose to get two bottles of water a day. Had to ask for the water two of the four days we were there and for replacement of coffee cups. Realized on our last day we never received the "Downtown Discount Coupons" their resort fee was suppose to include. Shouldn't have to ask for things which are suppose to be included for an extra cost. One of the tables in the room had a glass top and it looked like it had been wiped down with a dirty rage; very smeary and messy. One of us must have had something black on our foot when we showered and was in the bottom of the tub after the first night. Housekeeping never cleaned it out of the tub. I realize housekeeping doesn't do a full clean job each day but something like that should have been taken care of.
