Sink backed up within first 5 minutes. Maintenance had to come back with a snake to clear it. Sink was left nasty! Took a shower the next day and tub wouldn't drain! No coffee pot in the rooms either.

We stayed in the Rush Towers - it is downtown so away from the newer area but lots to do and we like the gaming there.

We stayed overnight at the Golden Nugget after an event at The Smith Center and before flying to San Diego the next morning. We have stayed at the Golden Nugget many times over the years and it is one of our favorite hotels.

It was ok.. I thought it would have been better.. at my old hotel riviera had refrigerators in all the rooms.. I guess that's what I expected

Check-in didn't go so well, but after we got the room we reserved the rest of the stay was fabulous!

Hotel staff not responsive, casino employees rude. Coffee costs more than at airport. No coffee in rooms. Hotel does not believe in customer service, asked for phone call from mgr, never received

I found the hotel to be very clean and quiet, in spite of it being in downtown. I will never ask for room away from elevator, because i ended up having to walk a long way to my room.

Overall pleasant stay. Left my tablet in the hotel lobby by the express check out table. called when I arrived home after 6 hours and the security office said they had my tablet and will be shipping it back to me. Thanks Bobby with the security staff.

Registration people are not so friendly and not good to deal with. Room smells too old and has not so much electric outlets.

Nice hotel, casino was fun. Lots to do down on Freemont Street.

Best place to stay downtown. A bit dated, but still a fun stay.

Hotel is great , rooms in Rush Tower are fantastic . Since smoking is allowed in the common spaces it makes it hard to breath for a non smoker

Not a five start resort, but you get what you pay for. For hotels in old town, it is probably the nicest. For gaming, it was so busy when we were there, that we ended up gambling at other casinos. The hotel room was clean and simple, nothing fancy, but worth the price. I would recommend it for somebody who wants an inexpensive, no frills, off the strip, pleasant experience.

Very impressed with the room and hotel in general. A friend stayed across the street at the 4 Queens and the contrast was shocking, 4 Queens was a hole. Had dinner at Vic and Anthony's too, excellent.

Will never stay at the strip again! Loved the golden nugget, the restaurants there, and the dance club. Wish the pool was open, but will be back to check that out. Will def stay at the golden nugget again! Toilet was a little weak and needed a few flushes, the blanket in between the 2 sheets were dirty but otherwise the hotel was good

Its to bad that they are charging you to have a coffee maker in the room even motel six lets you have one at NO charge.

Sports book could use an upgrade, tight with drinks, food way to expensive. Otherwise, a nice old school place to stay.

Due to the proximity to Fremont St the noise level was loud. The fact that they provide ear plugs in your room should have been a sign! The music noise late at night is just terrible. Really need to sound proof the windows to avoid the noise. Lastly when we checked in the desk clerk mislead what the upgrade would cost. It turned out the fee was per day which was not explained at check in.

My company booked this hotel for CES. When I arrived it took me over an hour to check in. Once I was able to start checking in The Golden Nugget informed me that the room I had booked over 4 months ago was not available and I would have to accent an inferior room. Lovely. Then they informed me there was a $30 resort fee/day for, 2 bottles of water, access to the gym and internet. Wow, wish that had been on Orbitz so I could have reevaluated which hotel we should be staying at. Well after waiting in line to check in for an hour it only took the Golden Nugget 20 minutes to process my check in. Seriously 20 minutes? what were they doing? Ok now that's done everything was ok I guess. I was sleeping on a full bed that wasn't long enough instead of the king bed, but otherwise the room was fine. However on night 2, there was a party outside the nugget and my windows literally shook until 1 am. When I asked to move, of course they could not accommodate my request. Thanks Golden Nugget. Now I know where not to stay in the future.

Stayed 11 days during the Christmas Holidays. Resort fees are too high and the only meaningful thing received was internet service.
