The lady checking us in was very unprofessional when asking for the manager she apologized but failed to put in our late check out. The rooms are basic no fridge so you can't bring back any leftovers and they have staff aggressively trying to give you gifts that you to pay 50.00 for to go to a class to try and get you to buy a time share. After 3 days of them doing so we couldn't enjoy walking around the Casino. The attractions were nice, staff were rude and obnoxious.

The beds are terrible. Compared to other casinos on the strip, they are not as updated and you miss out on a lot. The only good thing I have to say about Stratosphere is that Celestia is an amazing show. Even if you pick a non-smoking room (which you pay extra for) upon entering the casino, you are bombarded with smoke and weed smells. This was my first time to Vegas and if these beds had destroyed my back so completely that I couldn't get to any other casinos, I would probably never come back to Vegas. A total disappointment in regards to the Stratosphere. They even had our standard king room booked to someone else on our first night here and my wife and I (on our honeymoon) had to sleep in separate beds. We can't even get cell service in parts of the room.

Room 1/4, and here’s why I say 4. I would never ever think about giving this something higher than a 1 let alone a 5. Dirty floors, carpets and tiles. Towels dirty 4 out of 5 nights(we still have one more night to go) Beds never made or changed. Iron board, stained. Bathtub dirty, grimy. Mirrors, clean I guess.... Counters, rust stains around faucet. Toilet clean... Customer service: 5+ mins to answer a call from the room to front desk and house keeping. Attitude from front desk, after we upgraded our room,(20 usd/night extra) I asked them what the difference was with the upgrade, she tells me you get a safe. Asked to downgrade back, she said it was too late. Called to complain about the dirty items every day, they told me you get a full service cleaning after 3 days. Wouldn’t send someone up to clean. I asked to speak to a supervisor... he was just as clueless about customer service. Repeated the same speed about how it’s after 3 days. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone (Not even my enemies).

only choose this hotel if you want to wait in line all night to get a room and then find the room you get is not what u paid for....and do all this while being choked by smoke and being shouted at by the hotel staff. Saw that were equally rude to guests who had kids and seniors. Wanted to give them no stars. If budget is your concern there are many other options with better service and space...

This hotel is a little far from the strip but not too much. You have the benefit of the free Stratosphere Tower visita as long as you stay there. The view to the strip is awesome at night. You will be more comfortable if you rent a car.

Plenty of things to do but it was def a get what you pay for. Which I didn't mind but the room they "upgraded" us to wasn't that great so I would've hated to see what is not an upgrade. That being said we had fun and felt safe!

Awesome hotel it's huge,decent sized room (family room) 2 queen beds and queen sized sofa bed, tv with decent channels,minifridge big bathroom with hube bath. No 420 allowed in rooms. Works were going on in hotel but we didnt notice too much, plenty restaurants to choose from plus 24hr McDonald's, good kids pool area with chill out huts and bar,2nd pool on another lvl adults only also awesome, will review tower rides and restaurant separately.

I stayed for two nights with my family of four. There was a long line for check-in. When finally in our room we discovered garbage, juice and dust bunnies on the floor several places. We discovered brownish and red spots on both the duvet and bed in one of the beds as well. There were glass fragments on the floor in the corridor. Looked at other reviews finding out too late that others had the same experience. Our friend’s room were clean though. So maybe, or maybe not your room has been cleaned. We reported the dirty room at check-in. Got a free breakfast and was told the room would be cleaned soon. After almost two hours waiting and quite a few phonecalls to Housekeeping, we cancelled the cleaning because our children had to go to sleep. Five minutes past midnight the cleaners knocked on the door. They were nice and said they were sorry. With the children sleeping, they could only clean the bathroom floor. Another maybe or maybe not is the wifi. Only three devices per room can be on internet. And that is on a good day. The breakfast buffet was great. The pool for families was very nice. The staff is friendly and polite. Especially the one cleaning our room the following morning. The price for the hotel room was ok. Will we stay here again given the chance? Maybe or probably not.

My wife and I went for a romantic extended weekend and had the worst time of our lives .When we walked in the door we where hit buy slisitors acting like hotel booking. They got our id's and almost got my credit card.the hotel did not care.we stayed in the no smoking section and granted it didnot smell like cigarette smoke it had a thick unrelenting marijuana smell that we couldn't get away from. The hotel said "we will have security look into it" no one did. We decided to go out and find something to do and as soon as we walked out the door we where encountered by what i could only described as a tv representation of a gang member and it was dead on.good for tv for properly representing them.i never want to see it for my self as long as i live. After we made it past the dozens of vagrants and homeless people and to the strip we had a good time out. The city is filled with as many homeless people as tourists and is not a safe place to be. We took a uber back to the hotel and where confronted by escorts or prostitutes what ever you want to call them infront of the hotel they nonstop insulted my wife.so we left early and are now on our way back home. I would not recommend the stratosphere hotel to anyone. I would not recommend a trip to vegas. The city has many issues that need to be addressed.

The sheets had several what appeared to be biological stains (putting it politely), folded towels had what seemed to be make-up on some, a towel left hanging had hair and/or pubic hair on it, as did the tub/shower and a wastebasket that had garbage in it upon check-in. Then, after notifying your "guest services" text-line, I was jerked around for hours after having to sleep in my clothes on top of the top sheet because the sheet was so stained. The staff was very slow to respond, I had to pack-up and go to front desk to request another room after waiting over two hours for housekeeping to NOT show up. Allegedly no other rooms available that weren't "a serious downgrade". Then a supervisor contacted me after returning to my room and lo and behold offered another room that was supposed to be equivalent, but clean. I had to wait for a bellhop to come with keys to another room just so I could shower, even though the room was in fact a downgrade and not the king-sized I paid for. After a few more hours, finally transferred into a proper room (third time is a charm?) Tania, the supervisor had offered to "refund last night's resort fee", but said nothing about the charge for the disgusting room that I couldn't stay in. By the way, that resort fee was never actually refunded. Then, upon check-out, I requested to speak with a manager, but was told by Barbara at the front desk, not a single manager was available since "they're all in group meeting". A manager was supposed to call after that "meeting" was over, but no one ever did. Can't say I was surprised given the absolute lack of disregard for guest service, satisfaction and respect. As for other issues during our stay...your player rewards program is supposed to issue a voucher for the buffet after 300 points are earned in the first 24 hours of joining. I had over 440 points registered in the 1st 24 hours, but no rewards, offers or promotions showed in their system. Housekeeping was vacuuming the hallway outside guest rooms at 11:30pm. The 21 and over rooftop pool was late opening (another guest had to call the front desk) and then the security guard who finally unlocked the door was rude to the guests that had been waiting to get in. Once finally allowed in, the stairs leading up to the pool were already littered with plastic and debris and obviously hadn't been cleaned before opening. Construction in the casino was being done before temporary barricades were in place, making it unsightly and dirty. Once barricades did start to go up, guests were detoured without notice. Obviously, competant management is sorely lacking at "The Strat" and with so many other options on The Vegas Strip, I strongly recommend anyone and everyone consider those other options.
