The ocean view room was spacious and updated with a great view. The staff was friendly and the food was great. The hotel is a bit far from the city which was the only down side.
Only issue is public transportation was difficult to secure unless it was Booked ahead of time Thru hotel which came at premium price compared to tacit or grab so often waited for over 30 minutes to get ride off property
The property was beautiful. The staff were helpful and friendly. Outside of the beach there isn’t much offered in the way of entertainment which unfortunately left us feeling quite trapped when it rained. The area around the resort is very unsafe so you need to taxi an hour into Cebu City in order to explore.
I will tell people who try to visit Movenpick, not go to Ibija. Food and staffs in Ibija are really bad and rude
Not sure why this was considered a 5-star resort with its smaller rooms, noisy hallways, walls need repainting, bath tub just patched up. Check-in process was slow and chaotic. The only good thing left is their breakfast and the Ibiza restaurant and its happy hour special.
Slow service, check-in took about 1 hour and 15 mins, we called to have towels ready the night before for our early tour and wasn't ready. When we were leaving for the airport, the staff also took a really long time retrieving transportation. We went out and ask the taxi driver myself.

What I loved about Movenpick was their beautiful layout of the hotel and the wonderful staff. From the moment I stepped onto the property, my bags were tended to and I was ushered into the hotel. The hotel lobby, magnificent as it is, was very easy to maneuver from Game room to store to restaurants. The pool side view was amazing which led to a beach with a club on the side!! Very chill scene, Good food and talent at the club, Good Gym facilities, and reasonable prices for food on their menu. Great place to get away from it all and the staff is divinely comforting. I stayed twice within the time span of a week and they remembered me the second time I came in. They have a wonderful, tranquil, serene spa area, with masseuse who MASSAGE! I was very much elated with my experience at MOVENPICK. It will definitely be my first choice when visiting the Philippines.
Customer service is superb. Amenities and ambience is great. Location is very private and family friendly. Food is extremely expensive.
I love the property the pool, the beach maybe next time i'll bring the whole family. The food was good, the staff are also nice. Everything was good, as a first timer, i can recommend this place.
5 star staff, on a sold 4 star property. Water front rooms are a must do!
We really enjoyed the snorkeling and the spa. The breakfast buffet was also amazing everyday and the staff was amazing.
All customer service throughout the resort was excellent except for their Visa Club, which catered to “20 somethings.” The Visa Club staff wasn’t very friendly, unlike the rest of the resort staff, who were very gracious and helpful.

We highly encourage this among our guests, more so during the busy season when heavy traffic in main thoroughfares limits the number of available rides within Mactan. We do have a complimentary non-exclusive shuttle service that take guests to the main city mall, with 1 trip in the morning and another in the afternoon.
