Nice resort, close to Lake Tahoe. Nice gift shop. Did not explore the gym & other facilities.

The views from this hotel are wonderful at 8500 ft. elevation! Our room was located in The Cascades Building which didn't offer the best views, however we were there for only 1 night. The rooms are very large, clean and include a sofa, small table, small kitchenette and a huge bathroom with jetted tub, double vanities and separate step-in shower A week's stay there wouldn't be a problem. The biggest disappointment was the lounge area which didn't offer any awe-inspiring views and seemed to be an after-thought.

Was very pleased with the rooms and amenities that the hotel had. Will definately be coming back!!

When we checked in we discovered that the rooms did not have air conditioning and only open windows and a fan to help cool you down. Since the area was having a heat wave to made it hard to get comfortable. In addition to that the beds were hard and not comfortable. You also have to pay for internet access.

I love the hotel because has a lot activities to do , I would like to go in samer time

It's a lovely hotel, seated on top of a hill overlooking the state line. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the room we booked was spacious and clean. Only thing we could complain about was loud neighbors at one point (walls seemed thin) but it wasn't persistent. Overall great stay.

Location is so beautiful and excellent that I have stayed so far. the 2BR condo is amazing. 5 *

We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo, it was very clean and comfortable. Huge jacuzzi tub in the bedroom and numerous hot tubs all around the property. A game room in the main building was nice since the kids really enjoyed it, there is a bar on site as well but it closes pretty early I think 9pm. Overall great experience, and the booking service we used did have the best price, I called the hotel to verify and their rate was over $100 on what I booked so yes we scored!

Hotel had great views and pool in the top floor. Entire family enjoyed them. One thing to watch out for is that there is no AC in the rooms. So, check out the weather and confirm that it is not expected to be a hot day before you book the room.

Decided to come back to celebrate our Anniversary again this year. This time, we spent 3 nights in the Cascades, a unit closer to the Main Lodge. The room was high-end 3-Star quality with a couch, big screen TV and a huge bathroom with both a large shower and a large tub. Since it was the off-season, our rate per night was a bargain. Many free activities including movies and tennis lessons were included and the nearby pool and Jacuzzi were very nice. Definitely worth a return trip!

We were greeted by very loud (rap) music blaring in the lobby - we were told this was from a wedding going on onsite. The lady who checked us in made us wait & was NOT very friendly or welcoming. Our small room was nice & comfortable, (although a bit stingy on the soap - one bar for 3 sinks plus shower/tub in the room). We went to check out the Hot Tub, which was warm, but not HOT, so we decided not to get in it as suggested by the other couple in there. We left for dinner and when we returned we had to drive around looking for a parking spot-none available in their parking lot and we had to parallel park on a hill quite a way down the street. Re-entering our building as we got off the elevator we heard a lot of loud noise. As we got closer to our room we discovered there was a very loud party (looked like about 20 people) going on in the adjoining room next door to ours. After several unanswered calls to the main desk, my husband finally walked down the street to the office. Their offer was to call Security to quiet the party down. We knew this was not going to work-with the adjoining room it sounded like the party was right in our room! Although they told my husband they were full, at his assistance they did find us another room in another building. But we had to pack everything up, make the trek back to our car and drive to the new building down the street where fortunately, there were parking spots available. It was a larger, very nice, upgraded room (with 2 bars of soap!) and the rest of our night was quiet and uneventful. We appreciated the upgrade, but the entire stay was a bit disappointing!

Staff was nice . Location not so good . Got snowed in the first night and had to stay in the hotel the first night . Shuttle was also down..20mins always from the strip ...

So the hotel was nice, keep in mind it is a vacation rental spot so they will try to get you to attend a time share meeting upon check in. My biggest disappointment was that 1, there was no A/C units in any of the rooms made it very difficult to sleep comfortably, 2, the main road leading down to the lake was partially closed. it would take approximately 1 hour to travel from the hotel down to the lake area. The best thing about this hotel was the hungry bear restaurant. It was most likely the best steak I have ever eaten on the west coast.

Our son's family as well as my wife and I had a great time. Their 3 year old twins had a blast. Many activities and the indoor -outdoor pool was a hit. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious with plenty of dishes and stuff in the kitchen. Washer/dryer in the room was great.

Great place if you want to be away from everything! but for what you get is to expensive, considering that you have to pay to have internet!!. every Hotel around Lake Tahoe provides free internet, and for the price you pay at the Ridge you expect this amenity, any cheap Hotel provides free internet!!

very nice hotel, great food and attention! We love it

We really enjoyed our two night stay. There was a shuttle that takes you to Harvey's area and back. Although out of the way, the view was beautiful and very peaceful. Not great for those who cant walk hills.. Every thing was clean, and the pools were fabulous. Good Time. Want to go again. Lots of wind, so im not too sure about the winter.

This hotel is located in the mountains which serves as beautiful scenery. However, if you are going to be going many places it does add to the drive time in the summer when there are so many people in Tahoe. We stayed for two nights for a wedding at the end of July. It was hot and his hotel has not air conditioning. We were on the 3rd floor and would just sweat being in our room. There is only a ceiling fan and a small fan in the closet. This hotel served its purpose, but we would like to check out another hotel the next time we are in Tahoe.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo, it was clean, had a full kitchen, and perfect for our girls trip! The hotel is very family friendly. Staff was very polite. They even provide a shuttle that takes you to Harvey's.

I couldn't see Lake Tahoe. There was no A/C and it was a very warm day. I have a medical condition that required a stable temperature and when I alerted the staff the staff told me there was no A/C and to open a window and use Tahoe air. I felt like I was going to faint and she wanted me to open my windows! My room overlooked a miniature golf course and was very loud considering I was depending on my open windows for "Tahoe A/C".
