Great Get-Away by the Lake

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Loved being right on the lake and listening to the water at night. The fire pit was a nice touch at night to sit by. At first my husband was put off by the glass door to the room until we found the shade in the closet that just stuck to the door by magnets. We put that up at night. We did miss having coffee in our room for the morning, unfortunately it was on back order.

Believe the bad reviews! I wish I would have. They honey pot you with pictures of other updated rooms. We stayed in a standard room in the courtyard and it was also very loud from the street and noisy neighbors who were there to party. Might be nice if you pay the extra money for a lake view room because the location is nice, otherwise don’t waste your money on a standard room and expect to get a good nights rest.

Our room was clean but had no furniture other than 2 nightstands a table and 2 chairs. The kitchen was old but clean and a nice surprise. Our room had no view but we loved their large deck that looks over Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay by another day. They seemto stay extremely full and getting one of the units with a balcony and view. Next trip to Tahoe we plan to stay there, but will book our room early to get an upstairs balcony overlooking the lake.

How did it get a 9?

Old hotel. We stayed in courtyard room which had a lot of traffic noise. Adjoining guests coming and going sounded like they were walking in our room. Room is a bit tight. Place needs work. Carpet on stair is nasty. Location is good, close to things and lake.

Good location, Not the Cleanest

The location was great! It is right next to the lake and a few minutes walk to the Event Center. The bed was also very comfortable. My complaints focus about cleanliness and noise. You can hear all the cars drive by on the main road and everything happening in the parking lot. The room we stayed in had a fan missing a blade and was caked with dust. The mattress cover was also a bit dirty on the side, but was covered by a sheet.
