Started off when the host told us around 8pm there was no toilet paper and to bring our own. Driving across the desert with ETA of 10:30 pm and having to find a place open not appreciated. Next he wouldn’t give us the door code until we were standing on a very dark entry waiting for his text response, then a couple of tries were needed before we got a code that would work. It’s now 11pm and we are beat. The bathroom sink had what looked like dried blood on it. Sent a picture and got no response. Went to get in the bed and there was no sheet. Sent a text and no response. Next morning there was no electricity in the kitchen so no coffee, toaster or microwave. Sent a text no response. Backyard is a mess with tumbleweeds growing everywhere and debris all over the small porch. Next day the air conditioning wouldn’t work and it was 84 degrees in the house. Sent a text and he responded to the prior day’s complaint about the electric by giving the location of the breaker box. Acknowledged he could see the AC wasn’t working but it wasn’t resolved while we were there. No “sorry for the inconvenience” or “we’ll make it right for you”. Finally, we asked for a partial refund (1 night’s stay out of three) for our bad experiences. That request was also ignored. Worst property and service we’ve seen.
