It smelled very bad, the toilet was not connected to the floor, the bathtub was rusted out, the pool had no water in it, etc...

Generally, our stay was ok. This hotel needs more maintenance....paint, sanitozation, tub was black ,furniture dusty, shower head & shower curtain rod were rusty, toilet bowl plunger in the hallway

The room was small, the rooms or bathroom wasn't freshly cleaned. There was smells of drugs in the hallway.

Great staff and great hotel will stay again! Dog friendly

We stayed there for 5 days during this coronavirus thing and never one time did they clean any of the doors going in and out and when I confronted the manager about it he said well who told you to stay here I put a complaint into corporate and I still have not heard anything back from upper management so obviously they don't care either so do not stay at the Quality Inn downtown in Lake Charles Louisiana you get accused of not paying for your rooms they won't give you anything they put their Forks UPS in their silverware up in their dining area so everybody can grab all the top of your utensils very rude the only nice person There Was Dina the front desk lady

It was okay...for me and my family. We enjoyed our stay.

Property was very outdated. Tv channels kept getting interrupted due to bad service.

The beds are too big for the rooms. There is no walking room between the bed and the TV stand. Horrible!

The only thing I liked about this hotel is that they allow dogs. Other than that, it is overpriced; old, dirty, and extremely musty. I'm allergic to dust mites so I'm an allergy barometer everywhere I go. I broke out in hives here. For the price I'd spend $20 more to stay at holiday inn.

To be fair this hotel did have a no cancellation policy in their fine print, but the staff was not friendly on the phone... we had to completely re-arrange our trip ti Florida because of hurricanes Harvey, and Irma... These deviating storms caused harm to so many people! We had another hotel nicer than this one allow a cancellation even though they had a no cancellation policy... I let this hotel know with plenty of time ahead close to a week and a half ahead!... under these dramatic circumstances I would expect some flexibility, like credit to another hotel, or another time, or something... funny how this was the cheapest of the three hotels, and this was the least comsiderate... They lost our business!

First room - tv and fridge did not work, had to be moved. Construction woke me up early the next morning. Bed was comfortable, just an awkward room layout with tv between a wall.

Great front desk lady, excellent location, by downtown restaurants, nightlife, and art, walk across street to lake and park. I had a do not disturb sign on the door, I was getting dressed and a maid unlocked my door and was looking in talking to me! I was so embarassed. There was still 90 minutes til checkout time. At night, there was a couple screaming and fighting. Front desk said he'd check on it. Should have called police. Breakfast is mehh, and I'm not that picky.

Rude front desk reception. Construction openly going on while guests are passing. Musty rooms. Uncomfortable beds

We had no hot water the first night...switched rooms because of mold in bathtub ...new room smelled bad and was gross... Smell of pot all through the hotel...and blankets on the bed had brown stains and smelled horrible...this place is just nasty and not worth 90.00 a night....

The 1st room 328 they put us in had mold growing in the AC & you can smell it when you walk in the room. I took pics and will share if needed...... Then they put us in room 315, not a bad room other than the AC barely blows..... but apparently the batteries in the key lock thing died... well after 5 trips downstairs, 25 mins and my boyfriend complaining they FINALLY sent maintenance to open our door. NOT a great hotel. Not to mention while standing in the hallway one of the cleaning ladies told us room 420 has broken AC & recliner, said management has been told numerous times..... And on breakfast, we'll it was good.... only thing is the milk was warm so we asked for cold milk.... the maintenance man didn't want to get us any, but a nice older lady did.

Location was reason for booking. Price good for area. Room comfortable but should have been cleaner. Would not stay on bottom floor - too much noise. It fit my needs well.

Great breakfast but the room was really really dirty. The breakfast was great, the staff was great, but the lack of cleanliness will cost me not to ever go there again. Sorry

We loved our room. It was very large & comfortable. The hallway did not have a/c, but that was no problem. We had a large jacz tub. Will stay there again next year.

This hotel only needs updated furniture, and carpet then it'll be a 4 star. The pool area was nice, the breakfast was the best. Location is awesome, across from the lake.
