The house is huge! There were 12 of us that stayed in this house together and at no point was anyone crowded. The hot tub and pool was great. Obviously the hot tub is heated, but the pool is too and they both heat up extremely fast. We spent a lot of time in the game room as well playing shuffleboard and pool. The check in time for the house is early so you can get there early and enjoy the house and what it has to offer on the first day. All of the history of the house on the walls, decoration, tells the story of Doc's and the family. We enjoyed breaking all of that down as well. So if you do rent this place, pay attention to your surroundings. There is a story to unfold.

My family loved being at this spacious home. We all enjoyed the pool, the outdoor kitchen and the gameroom to say a few. This home is perfect for a large gathering. The property manager was very helpful and was quick to respond to all my questions. My only recommendation would be to have a list of instructions for all the cool features of the house. I felt bad contacting the host everytime we had a question. My family is already talking about returning to this place.

The host Mike was outstanding. This was our second time to stay at Doc’s and it did not disappoint. We will be coming back again next year. It is a fantastic property for our large group of friends and family. We loved hanging out at the pool and outside patio. Doc’s has the facilities to cook for a large group or you can do like we did and hit up the great restaurants in the Lake Charles area. If you are interested in having your meals catered be sure and ask the host. Mike can provide that service also. What a blast!

We absolutely loved this place..... First walking in, you think, this place is crazy. It's huge. We had a group of baseball coaches (and 1 wife/mom/team admin) and an entire team of baseball players staying at this house and we had more than enough room. We didn't even use some rooms. Mike was our host and he was great with responding to all my request and needs. He was so easy to work with and allowed us to have a "late checkout" to work around our baseball schedule. Our boys loved having their own space upstairs. And this house had everything you could think of. We are already ready to book Doc's house for a trip next summer.

Amazing large beautiful with all amenities one could ever need. Entertainment area, Pool and home overall had plenty of space to accommodate our family get together. Great place to stay.

We had a wonderful experience staying in this beautiful home. The host was easy to deal with and was very quick to answer any questions that we had. We loved the outdoor area. This home will must definitely be on our yearly trip list!!!!
