Sehr charmantes Haus, toll hergerichtet

Sehr charmantes Haus mit herrlichem Außenbereich. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und der Ausichtsplatz oberhalb des Pools hat wirklich eine wunderbare Aussicht. Das Haus ist mitten in dem kleinen Bergdorf, aber absolut ruhig. Tolles Ambiente im Erdgeschoß durch ein paar Relikte aus der früheren Zeit als Ölmühle, Auch sonst ist das Haus sehr gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Idyllisches Haus

Nach vielen Ausflügen in die nahe und ferne Umgebung, war es toll in das Haus zu kommen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Pool und der Whirlpool waren eine Bereicherung! Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.

Mit viel Liebe zum Detail umgebaute Ölmühle! Wohlfühlen im tollen Ambiente! Ferienwohnung voller schöner Antiquitäten. Entspannen im Pool und im Jakuzi und den herrlichen Ausblick auf die Hügel der Toscana und Volterra genießen…. Einzigste Touristen im Schönen verschlafenen Dorf. Sehr nette freundliche Dorfbewohner.

Perfect holiday home in Toscani

The nicely renovated terrace house is located in the very small and very typical village of Orciatico. Facilities, furnishings and equipment are exactly as described in the internet; the kitchen is rather small, so don´t expect to be cooking for a large crowd (but who wants to do that during holidays anyway). W-Lan works just fine. The highlight is the shaded garden with the sunny pool area and beautiful view from the terrace above the pool. The landlord´s father lives next door, speaks English very well and is promptly available and very accomodating in case of questions or requests. The landlord himself runs an agriturismo just outside the village, i.e. professionalism in terms of house maintenance is guaranteed. He and his wife may even invite you to the weekly pizza event they organize for the guests of the agriturismo. Oh, and not to forget: the landlord makes his own wine which your´re welcome to taste. Only point of caution: As mentioned above, Orchiato is a very small village with one bar, one tiny little store with very limited opening hours and one restaurant. So you have to be ready to drive a couple of minutes to get to more "populated places" for food shopping and good restaurants (e.g. Volterra, which is 20-25 minutes away). In sum, we definitely recommend this old olivemill for a week´s holiday in Toscani.
