This was an excellent hotel. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming and even gave us bus tickets. The bus stop it also conveniently located right across the street and is a quick ride to downtown Ortesei. Be sure to eat there for dinner one night, very generous portions! Breakfast was delicious, and best cappuccino thus far in Italy!

We stayed two nights at the family-run Hotel Pontives on a road trip through the Dolomites and thought it was ideal for a mountain vacation. The room was a bit old fashioned but large, comfortable and very clean. We had a balcony and there was a skylight in the bathroom. After long days exploring the mountains (don't miss the cable car to the top of Seceda) we had dinner in the restaurant both nights and really enjoyed it. The menu had typical South Tyrolean dishes and the portions were quite large so order judiciously. The breakfast was very nice. Staff and service were warm and friendly so we felt well taken care of.

Passamos 3 noites e adoramos. A menos de 5 minutos de Ortiseii, o hotel é muito aconchegante. Cama super confortável, café da manhã delicioso. Equipe extremamente gentil e atenciosa, do check in ao restaurante. Para ter uma ideia, dentre tantos hóspedes e pedidos diferentes, a moça que trabalha no café da manhã lembrava as preferências de cada um e já oferecia as bebidas de acordo. Todos simpáticos e solícitos, ficamos encantados.
