It was recently refurbished to a luxurious and comfortable place to rewind. The balcony offers an ideal space for a bit of wine or to relax after a long day.

## Neighborhood The Marina area is about 10 minutes away and has all you need including restaurants, bars with live music and a supermarket.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. It is located on the coast. You can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
## Transit
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can quickly get around without a car, and there are plenty of taxis and Uber's available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

Great place shame about the property management
The property is in a great location, 2 minutes walk from the harbour, 3 minutes from supermarket 10 minute walk to the beach. The property was clean and spacious. Great balcony with sunbeds got the sun between 9 & 1. The pool area is 1 minute away and was very quiet at end of September. There were fans in the apartment but these aren’t really an adequate substitute for aircon. Unfortunately, we had difficulty sorting access with the property manager, who failed to provide the codes for accessing the complex and the keybox to get access to the apartment keys, which we’ll put down to misunderstanding. There was also a misunderstanding which meant there was a delay in repaying our damage deposit. This didn’t spoil our stay and we’d be happy to use the apartment again.

Could easily be improved
Contacted RV en route to apartment and they permitted an early check in - thanks. However on arrival at the apartment the check in procedures provided were incorrect. I notice from other reviews from this apartment and others on their site that this is far from an isolated incident. How difficult can it be to provide accurate check in instructions for the properties you manage? Our issue was resolved by a phone call to their office but I wonder what would have happened had we arrived outwith office hours. The apartment was cleanish but suspect it had only been given a quick once over rather than a thorough clean.
Only being given one set of keys provides logistic issues particularly for a stay of four weeks.
The apartment is in a great location, central to everything Lagos has to offer and is large for a one bedroom. The bathroom is very tired and needs upgrading. Portable heaters were provided but these were not required during our stay (Oct/Nov). Two portable fans were provided and we used these daily. There is no aircon which would rule this apartment out for us during summer months.
The sofa was comfortable and I found the bed to be too but my wife struggled with the mattress.
The balcony received sun from breakfast to about 13:00. The table and chairs were comfortable but the cushions require refreshing. Glass balustrade filthy.
The condominium itself was well maintained by gardeners and cleaners however the pool area was a disappointment. Loungers were uncomfortable, some were broken and needed replaced and all were absolutely filthy. Decking area was partially blocked due to rotting boards. Traffic noise from adjacent busy road was intrusive.
The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and was accurately described on the site. We would use Rental Valley again but despite having a good stay in the apartment and complex, we would try another apartment.

Todo limpio y ordenado con sencillez y sin adornos ni muebles innecesarios que en otros o apartamentos nunca usas y te hacen dudar de lo limpios que puede estar. Muy bien ubicado, ni demasiado lejos del pueblo como para no poder ir andando, ni demasiado cerca como para que moleste el bullicio si lo que quieres es descansar. Por ponerle un pero, es un poco ruidoso si duermes con ventana abierta por la proximidad de la carretera a Meia Praia, pero no impide dormir bien.
