Pros: helpful and nice staff, clean bedroom and bathroom. Cons: absolute lack of maintenance, the hotel was build few years ago and since then there was no maintenance at all. Paint is peeling of the walls and ceiling, gardens without flowers, common areas look like construction yard, there is no space to hang around, sit together, etc. Fotos has been taken in the time the hotel was opened. Now it looks much different.

Die Menschen im Hotel waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Gebäude allerdings, ebenso wie die Zimmer, ist stark heruntergekommen. Überall hängen nur halb entfernte Spinnweben, im Bad riecht es nach Abfluss - und die Badezimmertür ließ sich nicht schließen, so dass der Geruch allgegenwärtig war, wenn auch im Zimmer eher „unterschwellig bzw. beim Vorbeilaufen an der Tür. Das Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen, die Einfahrt ist ein ungeteerter und sehr holpriger Weg. Alles in allem kein guter Eindruck, abgesehen von den freundlichen Mitarbeitern.

I'm not sure how to write a review of tge properly. Basic might do or even primative. Bed made strange noises, but so what, it was huge and very comfortable. Shower and toilet, old with peculiar plumbing but it all worked. Fabulous balcony. Not exactly pristine surroundings and was a bit muddy after rain, non of which killed anybody. Staff were brilliant. Was offered a coffee as soon as I arrived. Would come back like a shot.

I was happy with my choice

Pros: friendly and very helpful stuff, affordable, convenient location and walkable to everywhere including beach and airport, ok ( not great) Wifi Cons: very very outdated.

Good, bad and ugly

The good: large room with a balcony, desk, decent shower and clothes airer rack. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. The bad: smelly drains, no chairs for the desk, a sink that drains into the bathroom and pools instead of draining away so can get smelly, filthy mattress protector and linen with cigarette burns and marks. The ugly: cockroaches and bugs inside. This is likely because of the huge gaps under both the doors. Close proximity to town, eateries and transport links.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Maar de staat van het hotel/hostel is erg slecht te noemen. De badkamer was echt heel erg. Best jammer want het zou met iets meer aandacht en een likje verf er prachtig kunnen zijn.

Bookef through Expedia. We got there and no car waiting. Hotel said they didn't get the Expedia email. When we arrived at hotel the room we booked was not available. The air conditioner was broken. The manager was kind enough ti find us another room at another hotel but I'm pretty sure not as nice a place. Not sure how an issue Like this gets handled by Expedia. The area was booked up as a dignitary was in town. .unable to rate hotel

Don’t stay anywhere else in Labuan Bajo.

Awesome family run hote. Very friendly staff and owners that can’t help going the extra mile to help. Nothing is too much trouble. Good advice on prices for boats and the owner even took us out for the day. Nice breakfast included and a very laid back vibe. We would return without a moments hesitation.

Bit overpriced

The owner of the property couldn't have been more helpful. He arranged our trip to komodo island and took us to the boat very early in the morning after bringing a good breakfast to our room.He had not long had the property so hopefully the problems with plumbing will get sorted.

Great hotel, great value

We stayed here before and after a 2 day tour to Komodo park. The large room was very clean and contained 2 double beds that were probably the most comfortable mattresses we had in the last month. The included breakfast was eccellent and served to your room. The WiFi was available in the reception area as well as the rooms close to it as the signal was strong. The hotel owner was very knowledgable about the komodo tour packages and was happy to offer advice etc. regarding companies and prices. A great family run business.

the Owner is awesome, super sweet and lovely guy, always with a smile. Helped me organize my day trip to komodo and arranged transport to and from the port.
