Great hotel -- it was nice to be able to walk out of our room, right into the elevator and then right on the street. Room was great with a nice view, it was our largest room on our trip. 100% would stay again. Breakfast was limited, but free and convenient.

Everything about this property was great - good location to all sorts of attractions and foods. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We wish the hotel had a more filling breakfast option but there were several spots nearby that we were able to explore at that time so it worked out. Beautiful views of the canal and sakura from our room. Would definitely stay here again!

Very spacious rooms, conveniently located and the staff were amazing! I just wanted to say a special thank you to Nao and Nanae who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. My wife was travelling pregnant at the time of our stay and they did anything and everything to accommodate her. They even folded up some very beautiful origami with a personalized note wishing her and the baby good health. We both felt so at home at this hotel and it will be our go to stay every time in Kyoto!

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was just outside the tourist heavy spots like Gion which we preferred for the peace and quiet but still had many walkable restaurants nearby. The room was spacious enough for 2 adults with 2 suitcases open. My favorite thing about this hotel was the free light breakfast they offered including pastries, coffee/juice, and yogurt. The staff was helpful and friendly and the room itself was clean and felt modern! I would come back!

Excellent hotel! Staff were warm and welcoming, helpful in giving recommendations. Hotel was immaculate. Location was excellent, close enough to restaurants and shopping but a little removed from the busy areas. Located right along the canal and near the river. Breakfast was simple (pastries, yogurt, cheese, coffee/tea/juice) but adequate. Would definitely return! Highly recommend!
