Great hotel in a central, walkable spot in Kyoto - far enough away from main tourist and shopping areas but close enough to easily walk to. Hotel Intergate Kyoto Shijo Shinmachi was our second hotel of our Japan trip. We were able to ship our luggage from our previous hotel in Osaka, and that was extremely convenient for us. The hotel is extremely clean, modern, and our room was perfect for two. All of the staff there were very nice and showed great hospitality. The nearest bus stop is only a 5 minute walk which made it super convenient to get around, and we were able to also explore the city and enjoy some great food, drinks, and even the Kyoto Pokemon Center!
