Absolutely everything of this hotel was fantastic. Location amazing to walk to all the areas and if not, we could get a taxi right at our door. Great shopping restaurants transportation were all right at our fingertips. The staff personable and eager to help in any way they could.

Large than normal rooms with nice sized single beds. Connected to a very nice, high-end grocery with hot food and beverages. Lounge and spa were nicely kept and comfortable. Shopping space on third floor is full of unique Japanese items. Location is very central. Would stay here again when back in Kyoto.

Overall was a great experience and we loved the hotel’s atmosphere. However the problem was that they didn’t have extra bed for my child although the original booking was for three occupancies. They said max per room 2 only. It was difficult for my child to sleep. Sofa wasn’t comfortable.

Excellent excellent service. When leaving the hotel one of the staff assisted us to wheel our luggage all the way to the train station a back way through shopping centres so we wouldn’t have to go out in the cold and because we weren’t sure where to go. He also helped us onto a special train that had lots of fun carriages instead of the common ones. The rooms are spacious and clean, we had the one with the sauna and it was well worth the extra money! Easy to use and again, very clean. Beds are comfy, spacious bathroom. Big selection of food for the buffet as well. Really recommend this hotel!

This hotel is beautiful the moment you step in, lobby on the 4th floor. I loved everything about this hotel except for my room was over on the side of what seemed to be a parking garage so you can hear cars pass and run over metal grate/plate clank. The headboard sits on the window wall so can’t do much about it. Location is great but if you decide to stay maybe ask for a room opposite side to the garage.
