I would like to say my stay at Hotel Dnipro for 8 nights was great. The Hotel staff was always very pleasant and helpful, the amenities including the health spa, complimentary breakfast, and also the entertainment in the building made for a nice vacation. The 2 restaurants they have at the hotel are also very nice. The food always tasted great. You get an incredible amount of service at a very minimal price. My next trip to Kiev I will definitely staying here again.
See before. Actually all disaster , never cost this money I paid .

I love this hotel and the Hotel Ukraine. Both are very convenient, affordable and comfortable to stay at. Also great for Uber Pickups if you don't want to take the Metro (although the Metro in Kiev is so well designed and useful, I don't see why you wouldn't).
Nice hotel with security in city center and metro station 2 minute walk! Nice location and underground mall and many restaurants and bars are very close!
The hotel location is convenient to the center of Kiev. And some of the staff were cordial. But I went for 6 days without a functioning TV even though I reported it everyday! And the bed was so bad I had back problems the entire 11 days I was there! Then the shower leaked so bad it flooded the bathroom floor. Finally I demanded these problems should be corrected and they moved me to a different room and things were better.
This is not the best hotel you will have stayed at. But, when you consider the location and the price/value of the rooms this hotel becomes very attractive. It may be more attractive to those wanting to experience Soviet era décor and luxury but everyone should find it very functional to fit their hotel needs.
By the ridiculous prices charged by other hotels in the center of Kyiv, this is absolutely the best value for money in the city - assuming that you need the room strictly as a base, to wash and sleep. Luxurious it is not, but it is clean, you get hot water and the internet, on this visit, worked perfectly. If you are on a diet, you will appreciate the extensive breakfast.

Overall very good. The breakfast is amazing!!! Even a grand piano player. Very nice hotel and great price. Only small issue...was on the 11th floor and asked for lower. Was given a lesser quality room on 7th and they didnt tell me they downsized me. Receptionist was just a bit haughty. Also, nice coffee shop right in hotel. And check the gift shop, some good finds there. Overall I would certainly stay again.
My visit to Kiev was great. The stay at Dnipro was awesome. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Kiev. This made all sites easy to locate and visit.
15 years ago the Dnipro was an 'elite' hotel in Kyiv, by post Soviet standards. It still boasts an elite location, but the place feels shabby and worn down. A Soviet feel lingers in the corridors and in the rooms. The staff aren't rude, but there's still the sensation that the lobby guards are there to protect the hotel, not you and that you are a guest they have to put up with rather than cater to. It could and should be an opulent place. It's not.
Great location. Great old fashioned hotel with plenty of wifi. Breakfast buffet was superb, love the coffee they served. Rooms are small, but I could care less about that.
PERFECT LOCATION! The hotel itself isn't incredible but it's exactly what I needed. It's walking distance to several tourist attraction and a $5 ride to the Pechersk Lavra and Rodina Mat.
My stay at the Dnipro Hotel was a pleasant one with one exception of the elevator sometimes not going past the second floor so the final floor twice I had too use the stairs for the final floor too ground level. Other than that I was able too have a nice stay and I enjoyed my visit too ukraine.
Very cozy hotel in the heart of the city. Everything are done with a flavor. It is not brand new but for the money paid absolutely perfect choice.

The Dniprio was very nice from the outside and the lobby was beautiful as well. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of everything. The staff was super friendly and spoke English well. The downside is that the room was very small and the wireless was very weak from my room.
