Went for a weekend, and everything was just perfect. The staff, the food, the gorgeous room with balcony and view on the sea.... clean and tidy, that'a important because we are family with 11-months baby.Keep up the good work!
Not first time here, allways feel good. Room with everyrhing you need, coffee,tea...,very clean. Bathroom with all you need, also very clean. Amazing food combinations in restaurant with very kind staff. Will stay again.
I think this is an old hotel we are talking about. Sure it was renovated, but in my room which was btw superior one, at the entering in to the bathroom carpet literally flowered (in one corner). Not sure why don't they do something about it. Also the cleanliness in the bathroom was a bit under the question - dust on the holders. Can 5* hotel even afford smth like this. My pillow was awful ( filled with cuts of smth), I took my friends one, was better. Blankets very heavy. Isolation very bad, I could hear what next door neighbor was watching on TV. Room vas cosy and I liked the view the most. You should take sea view any time, even in the winter. There was such a beautiful sunset to watch. Breakfast ok ( I was missing some healthy variety of bread), dinner: almost everything warm I took was not warm, when I got to the table my meat or spaghetti was already cold. I adored octopus salad, was delicious. I could highlight the staff. Very kind, even though, what is interesting there are older people working. The porter was so helpful and always ready to chat and give you some advice what to visit. And the waiter staff always on disposal, very kind and some of them jokers. Wellness: cold and small.
Among all hotels, this hotel is quite disappointed for us. It is not what it shows or described on website, in real life this hotel is quite old and run down. With smelly wooden furniture smell in the room. Breakfast buffet spread was all right
Room at 3tf floor was not even 3 star. Bathroom was quite old ( old tiles and ceiling, old glas shower walls and sink was blocked. I reported this but it was not fixed same day. I was here only one night and didn't have a chance to visit the rest of hotel but this room and outside of hotel, reception are at 3 star level in comparing with other hotels I visited so far
Staff is very pleasant, food choice for breakfast and dinner is very good. Wellness could be better, especially the choice of spa treatments and massages. Rooms ok, nothing extra special. The only bad thing is that there is no free parking, you have to pay immediattely otherwise you'll get a fine.
Ok from the outside the hotel might not look so interesting but trust me beyond the exterior the place is great. It is on the Adriatic, right in front of the beautiful sea walk the Lungo Mare. There is an indoor and outdoor sea water filled pool, a delicious breakfast buffet , large standard rooms with decks overlooking the sea. The staff is friendly and the price is right.
It was a pity that we stayed one night here (room 409) only while travelling on our way to Split. The place is so lovely, luxurious and well maintained. The room is extremely spacious and the sevice is top notch. The mini kettle wasn't working and within two minutes of calling reception for help, the maintenance personnel had responded and solved the problem of a switch trip. Breakfast spread was generous and delicious. There really isn't anything that one could find fault with. We were staying three in a room and yet none of us felt cramped. The design of the room was thoughful, giving my daughter a separate section which functioned as her own private quarters. The view was perfect from the balcony, looking out to the Adriatic Sea. Kudos to the owners and management of this property. No wonder Josip Tito stayed here too!
Really good hotel, also good food for breakfast and dinner, only bad things is they said spa center -sauna is open at 9,but when we come there, they said its open at 10, not warm yet. All other Good. Fitness has really No Good Air. Way too much food to choose, its too much choise :)
Maybe this hotel is not in the same class like premium 5 star hotel worldwide as Hyatt, Sofitel, Kempinski ..., but has everything for me and my wife for our unforgettable time in Opatija. Suite with unbreathable view, clean rooms, excellent buffet for breakfast and dinner with big choice of food, good spa, Best stuff on the reception, bar and restaurant...., and that's all for very resonable price!!! In the other premium 5 stars hotel you will pay much more money for something similar.
