Stayed here for 2 nights while on business in the area. Very nice pool area. Rooms OK. Open air lobby OK. Quiet room, relatively clean. Decent breakfast buffet, but no "Western" food at all to speak of.
This hotel was just OK for me. Room Facility : Bathtub Toiletries Safe box Iron *slipper that provided in the room seems a bit dirty. The hotel located at the seaside. You can walk to the beach. During our visit, it was windy & raining every evening. The wave was big n not safe for swimming so we didnt go there.
Bathroom is a disaster. Pillows are not clean. The rooms really need an upgrading. Entertainment is good. Staff by the name of Siva f&b assistant manager is superb and fantastic. Very attentive and friendly towards everyone and know his job scope very well. Well done!
The hotel rooms need additional care for maintaining its housekeeping. The hotel seems lack of staffs. Housekeeping staffs need to work harder. In-room service was good. The spa was good too. That makes the stay pleasant even though my schedule is hectic.
I stayed two days in this resort. Just beside sea with a private beach. Resort is quite fine for family and kids, but very old . Morning breakfast was excellent. Price of food is bit expensive. Room make up is so far ok, but need more attention on cleanness. However our staying was pleasant and we enjoy a lot with my kids.
We checked into the resort on 8.12.2017 at night via 3d2n stay reward given under a loyalty programme by a family friend. The staffs were attentive and the service was good. The room was in good condition as well until we made our way to rest on the bed after a long drive to the resort from KL. We found tiny sands in between the sheets and the sheets weren't cleaned well. When we opened the panel door to get a lil fresh air and tried to lock it, we couldn't lock the door as it appeared to be faulty. We had to go to the counter and inform that the lock is faulty on our way out for dinner. After dinner, we opened the panel door thinking that the lock's been repaired, to our dismay the lock is faulty, to begin with. We had to get to the counter again and get it fixed. The towels provided for feeling like they've been there for ages. One of it had stains on it. After all these, we didn't open the panel door at all. All in all, the service was really good. However, the rooms could be improved.
Nicely laid out beach resort with a selection of free/paid for family and childrens' activities. Bouncy castle/slide on site, as well as a small rabbit-petting area. Outdoor pool looked good including large children's pool, with pool towels provided. Lovely long beach, not too busy, not commercialised. Good-sized gym, plus games room with table tennis, darts, carrom. Childrens' arcade area near gym, as well as batik painting. Even had movie nights, which were generally deserted as there are so many other things to do. Plenty to keep you entertained. Visiting in December, we had a few episodes of heavy rain, the longest lasting half a day. The contrast in weather is amazing - rain coming heavy and unannounced followed by perfect beach weather with blazing sunshine. Rooms: we had a family room which consisted of a main double room and a twin room with its own door coming off the main room. Facilities were good, with the usual bathroom amenities, fridge, safe, daily water bottles. Daily housekeeping. Bed was a little too hard for me. Generally nice and clean with a few niggles: the voile curtain over the balcony door needed to be replaced. Family room balconies all overlook 'garden area' - rather than pools/beach. Ours overlooked the entrance to the complex and tennis courts. There are several restaurants/dining options although we did not try any of these, apart from the breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet was quite good, with indoor and outdoor tables set up overlooking the pools with a view of the beach in the background. A good-sized and varied spread of decent quality. Roti Canai and waffle station, egg station (my omelet was too runny.. keep an eye on the chef to make sure it's how you want it). Breakfast from 6:30-10:30 but by 10am options start running out and are not always replaced. Some of us also felt the cutlery/crockery could have been cleaner, and the cleaning of tables between guests was a little careless. Our family ratings overall ranged between 3-5 star; personally I felt it was very good but a little short of 5 star. And at around £100/night for family room plus breakfast (once you factor in all the extra taxes) I felt it was a bit expensive. There is a free shuttle to Kuantan City Mall twice a day (which is within 5-10 mins walk of the other 2 main malls: East Coast Mall and Berjaya Megamall)and a return shuttle at 4pm. Good for rainy days. We found a cafe we liked just opposite Berjaya Megamall: Old Town White Coffee. Also recommend a visit to Teluk Chempedak (beach on edge of forest: monkey alert! A slightly more commercialised beach but very beautiful) and the Natural Batik Village (another activity good for rainy days! Here you can view an array of Batik goods (and some pewter and other traditional items) for sale, and try your hand at batik painting - your artwork can then be transferred onto a t-shirt/tote bag - need to collect the following day.. in our case they very kindly delivered our finished items to our hotel the next day at no extra cost as it was just up the road).
Staying for 2 nights with family for a short vacation. Able to secure family room to accomodate my family. Quite smooth check in process though been there during peak school holiday. Swimming pool and other facilities really good for family with small children. Need to improve on the breakfast buffet selection and more spaces for parking.
It really nice stay at Swiss Garden Resort with the great pool for my kids. Hotel room is just avearage,do need to maintain..but the pool really is a plus point. Many fun and activity at Pool for kids and adult.Management also do monitor and keep closely on the dress attired so people can really enjoy. But a bit far to town for food.Around 30min then only can get Restuarant.
Me and my wife spent one full week at this resort. The location of this resort by the beach is so nice. The staff are cheerful and helpful. The walk along the beach is very refreshing. We enjoyed our stay very much.
