Our business meetings were in Shah Alam so this hotel was a perfect choice. The hotel is set in spacious, lush tropical grounds, bordering on the golf course, and is quiet and relaxing. It is perfect for business travel. The setting of the large green pool is amazing (although the pool does need resurfacing) and we really enjoyed swimming here. We saw a troop of 20 monkeys playing in the trees whilst we swam in the pool on the first day. We love the club lounge which is well styled and comfortably furnished. The Hotel rooms are a good size .Ours overlooked the garden nursery and pool. The bath and large stacked stone lined, shower recess were excellent. We also recommend the buffet breakfasts-service was good. If you are visiting Kuala Lumpur consider staying here.It is only a 40 minute drive to KLIA.
Never knew this place existed until we entertained a friend visiting from Australia. RP Bistro stands for Rumah Peranakan and is part of the Resort. Didn't eat there but just had drinks on a Saturday afternoon. Opens at 3pm daily.
Resort and room were great, food was very nice (only had breakfast) but tea was difficult to come by at first. I was asked by a member of the waiting staff if I would like tea or coffee and I asked for tea.....nothing arrived before I had to leave. The second day I asked for a tea and a cup arrived at my table. Third day, I was directed to the tea making facilities......all a little too confusing for my small brain. Overall, a very minor complaint as the hotel didn't know the extend of my tea obsession.
Warm welcome and a great attendance at all times, loved their service and hospitality Large room overlooking the lake with quietness and a relaxing atmosphere Only renovation of furniture would be appreciated.
The overall experience was outstanding. Room superb, 5 star comfort and the service throughout was so impressive I'd love to come back soon. The food was great and pool and gym were also impressive. Highly recommended
Room package offer should be more attractive and overall quality should be better. Food and Beverage choices lacked at The Club. This has to improve especially breakfast varieties and choices. No good Chinese or Korean Restaurant available.
I stayed a month ago. Room and enviroment very nice and cozy. Breakfast was very good. Many varieties. Canape also was superb. I had dinner in SENJA restaurant. The food very nice and delicious. Presentation of the food also nice. BUT the service in this restaurant need to improve in terms of communication, serving skills. Always rushing. I cant enjoy my meals. They sometimes ignore when i need an assist. I hope the service team in this restaurant can improve more.
Although I have the choice of a few hotels in this area I always stay in The Club. It is first class and your only disappointment is that at some time you have to check out. You can dine in luxury or if you just want to chill pop over to the pub; there beer is ice cold and the group is awesome.
Stayed overnight for a conference. Used to be under Hyatt management. There are two parts of this resort. Stayed in the Club section which has its own check in lobby and even restaurant and lounge. I had a ground floor room which was enormous with lots of wood and a sitting area and faces out to garden. The bathroom was enormous with a separate shower room and a bath. The bed was enormous and there was a sitting room as well. Good stock of amenities and the wooden finish gave an atmosphere of being in a Malaysian traditional house or a Balinese spa. The breakfast at the coffee house had a good international selection. the conference had meals served at the various restaurants (international, chinese and japanese). Conference tea breaks had quite a good selection of cakes and savouries and the toilet facilities were very clean. Grounds include a pool and an area for kids to play and there is a golf course nearby although I am not sure if hotel guests have access to it
This was our second visit to the club within a year, confirming our believe that this was the best place for a weekend retreat for our family. Staff are respectful, professional and definitely doing their best. The room was spacious and lovely. Coupled with a Variety of tasty food choices within an idyllic quiet ambience make the stay a value for money. Dr Mastura
