Location: 5-min walk to LRT station; easy access to PJ town centre, even during morning rush hours. Room: Spacious, classy, quiet and clean. Services: Good - daily room service, daily free newspapers, easy check-in. Parking: Ample and free for in-house guests. Did not try their Wi-Fi, breakfast and gym so couldn't comment on those.
The food was fantastic. There were varieties of menu served and all were delicious and tasty. They just renovated the room. So it looked new. The hall where we held our course also awesome. The staffs were very nice and friendly.
Booked a room for my parents via Agoda for 8 nights reading the good reviews of the renovated rooms etc. Arrived at night my parents told me all was good the room was spacious. The next morning they woke up with animal bites all over their body and wheezing (a very dusty place can made them wheezing sometimes but never happen in a hotel room ever!). Asked to change a room they said there weren't any and offered to clean the room again only. My parents bought Dettol disinfectant spray and sprayed the room. They left to opt stay at the hospital the next day and just left the belongings there until 2 days before check out. Prayerfully the hotel would overhaul their housekeeping standard. Breakfast was okay but ingredients seem not fresh. No small shops etc nearby even if one want to buy a bottle of water hence not recommended for travelers wanting such freedom.
I can recommend this place for a comfortable updated room. Positives are comfortable rooms, clean and near food and light rail. Negatives are not a great dinner buffet but breakfast was good. Came here on business. Good services
I stayed at this hotel 1 night in new renovated room. The check in was little bit slow and I have to wait for the room and there is no seating area at the lobby. The room are so spacious with contemporary furnished and all amenities are there in the toilet. The corridors leading up to the rooms very elegant decorations with the jazzy music. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel especially theme music in the Armada Hotel website once log in to internet. I had download it and make it as my hand phone ringtone. I love breakfast at this hotel with selection of food. However, the café should have a new image as stunning as a guest room. The café look so old and I can see the floor is dirty and cracked. Overall, i really enjoyed my stay and i hope to stay here again.
First time stay at this hotel. Easy early check in. Nice spacious renovated clean rooms. Good buffet breakfast. Good location. Less than 5mts safe walk to LRT station. Special compliments to Duty Manager Ms.Rain and Front Desk Staff Miss.Melodie for providing excellent service on our special requests. I noticed other staffs at Lobby were also helpful and pleasant. Could have got 5star rating from me only if there was no bad smell from drainage in the clean bathroom.
I was pleasantly surprised when I went to stay for about just over a week at the hotel. Staff was nice friendly and always helpful. Service with a smile always came to mind. The room was big with comfortable beds, efficient air conditioning system , TV free wifi, and well designed bath room. The breakfast was a selection of Asian and Western fayre (more Asian than Western actually!) but there was a relatively big selection and the cooking was excellent. One morning, there was Noodles, porridge, some Dim Sum items, Nasi Lemak with curried chicken, fried noodles, braised beef, freshly home-made breads, an imaginative selection of fruit juices (not the cheap type cordials which claimed to be juices in so many Malaysian hotels). The chefs here really knew how to cook! They even provided free newspapers. There was ample parking if you have a car. And iff you did not have your own PC or smart phone to access the free internet, you could even use the computers in their business office for free. This hotel is located opposite one of the Trainsit train stops and you can get into downtown KL, and onwards to the airport relatively easily. Public transport in KL is so cheap for visitors that it feels like some kind of a "give-away" - it is "peanut" prices, literally! Someone on Tripadvisor mentioned that he/she thinks this hotel was "unprofessional"? That is so untrue. This hotel is very professional, and considering it is "only" a four star hotel, it deserves every single one of those stars and more! It is HIGH END four star hotel. In some countries, eg Spain , go to a Four Star hotel and you will probably get a three star experience! The only "down" side was they charged me a downpayment which they take out of your card. But when I checked out, even when there was no additional charges, they just phoned the bank but they were not able to issue a receipt for returning the downpayment. Perhaps, senior management can correct this to alleviate anxiety of guests in the future? (Initially, I was a bit concerned that the refund might not come through, so had to contact my online agent who sent an email to reassure me.) Although the hotel room rate was very reasonable, their dinner buffet charges seems quite high and there were not many restaurants to eat in the nearby areas for dinner. (I could be mistaken but I did not recall that there were many people who went for dinner )It would be good if management could review the dinner buffet charges, and perhaps, that would encourage more guests to dine at the hotel.
Booked 5 rooms here for my son's pre-wedding preparations. The hotel is situated next to Sheraton PJ and opposite PJ Hilton. For the price paid, I've got no complaints whatsoever. The rooms are spacious and very tastefully furnished. The corridors leading up to the rooms are very clean and classy (was told the wing I stayed at was recently refurbished). You'll find all the amenities you'll find in a 5-star hotel. Beds were comfy and the aircond worked perfectly. One of very few hotels that actually provides you a proper welcome drink: whiskey, cocktails and juices which you can enjoy at the bar! The staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all, a very satisfying stay. Will definitely stay here the next time.
From check in to check out this hotel keep on impressing us, best value for price huge room, clean and nice, parking good, location good don’t go and find best hotel in pj you can always come here stay here once you will impress as well. Good job to the team who made this changes.
Stayed for a night in the renovated deluxe room during a company function. The room is clean and neat. All the essentials are available in the room like iron and hair dryer. The bed is comfortable too. Basically i am quite satisfied with the room except for the shower area in the toilet, as soap scum is visible on the floor. The breakfast buffet is good with the usual malaysian and western food. And the location is just the best as it is really near Asia Jaya LRT station. So you can get there by train if you cannot drive there. A good hotel to stay in PJ area.
