I stayed in this hotel for few days as it was near from my work location. The room was clean and neat with basic toiletries items provided in the room. They serve the buffet breakfast with western menu included in it. Overall it was the comfortable stay.
Stayed here for a few nights while attending an event nearby. Booked the renovated room and was happy that we got a room upgrade; though I'm not sure what the upgrade was when I went into the room. Could it be a bigger room? The room was clean and came with the necessary amenities and room safe. The window was rather small and at the side of the wall such that natural light doesn't come fully into the room. The water pressure was good but the glass partition was not very effective in preventing water from the shower flowing to the rest of the bathroom. Breakfast was as the same as you would find in similar hotels. The hotel provides shuttle buses to a few locations including Mid Valley Mall but you have to booked your place the day before. There is a train station a short walk from the hotel. The concierge was helpful though the absence of a map of the vicinity was a glaring letdown. There are no shops, not even a spa in or around the hotel; the nearest shops (eating etc.) are nearer to the Hilton Hotel.
Disappointed with the reception service as they don't have the courtesy to greet you. Room is too old and bath tub is yellowish. No water heater and the water too cold. While room 1211 toilet is not been repaired as the water flow out from the bowl when flushing the water. Just be careful when you using their towel as the towel has a stain. Overall experience is bad and I will not recommend to my family or friends. Request for the renovated room but they just ignore my request as I using a complimentary voucher.
Location is average as the walk to the LRT station is not exactly ideal. The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you are staying at this hotel, you can do without the breakfast at the cafe. I do think they can improve the breakfast buffet. I have heard the Japanese restaurant is quite alright for lunch and dinner, but I didn't have the chance to try it.
My husband had a workshop in a nearby clinic and the event organisers booked this hotel for us. We stayed 4 nights. On check in I informed June the receptionist to assign a non-smoking room to us as my hubby and I were both allergic to cigarette smoke and she was kind enough to upgrade us too the Premier Floor. The check in was swift and the staff from the desk to the porter were helpful and informative. We had a lovely room with a good view of the city and it was quiet even though the desk informed us that there would be renovation work on the the lower floors. The soft works did not bother us at all! The room attendant was good in his job as our room had been tidied up daily with amenities replenished. We ate out of the hotel most of the time except on one evening when my hubby was too tired. He ordered the Yee Mee with Tiger Prawns from the Coffee House. Service here during breakfast and dinner could be a bit testing as this eatery employed foreign workers as bus boys and servers. The noodle took a while and I had to remind the server to check on its progress even though that evening was slow and it was longer than expected as there were only 2 tables occupied. The diners seated were having the semi buffet meal when we arrived. The noodles came with 2 large sea prawns and not Tiger Prawns as described on the menu. Since my hubby was hungry and tired, he just ate and felt it would be too cumbersome to bring this matter up to the staff. Besides the wait and the misled information on the type of crustacean, the noodles dish turned out tasty. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and undoubtedly the best hotel in Petaling Jaya and well worth the value we had paid.
stays 1 night attending work commitment at nearby VSQ building. read and heard a lot in regards of the hotel good rating and it didn't disappointed me when the hotel live into its biling. from quick check in process, attentive front desks to helpful "uncle" whom helping me getting a prayer mat, it a smooth sailing experience.
Affordable room rates, coupled with excellent staff. My cousin had a a wedding banquet in this hotel. Being part of the executing committee we have quite a list of things we'll need the hotel to cooperate with us. In all of them, they were extremely complaint, and gave in to us as much as they could. Requested for additional rooms to stay the night before, breakfast vouchers for half a dozen people, validation of parking tickets for guest, preferred parking for travelling convoy, and more. Its the little things that counts, and they did every tiny bit beyond the level of service expected. Book the other hotels if you just need a roof above your heads, If you need a truly wonderful experiences, It has to be Armada.
Great hotel front desk service with newly renovated room. Very convenient location to get to most place around are much less then 30 mins. Good breakfast variety. Nice cafe good variety of food Classy lounge The Merchant live! Amazing great live band!
Been staying here few times for the past 4 months. Anyway, my latest stay was 24th March and I would like to thank the receptionist named June for helping me out with the pads when I was feeling unwell. She wasn't obliged to assist yet she did. It was very nice of her. Hence, the suggestion: would be nice if the hotel provides a convenience store where the customers can grab some necessities when needed without having to leave the building.
Staff were responsive and quick to resolve issues. In particular, one of our rooms had a strong cigarette smoke smell, even though it was non-smoking. Called front desk to request change of room due to allergy to the smell. Within 5 mins, they came up & brought us to another room. Only not so positive thing was that the water pipes noise was pretty loud when someone used the shower in the morning. The noise woke me up, and I couldn't get back to sleep after.
