Pros: -5 mins walk to Asia Jaya LRT station which would take you straight to KLCC in 30-40 mins. -room is large and spacious with hard beds(good back support) -clean room and shower - many channels on the tv - the breakfast and dinner buffets had lots of variety - complimentary basement parking - the building looks old but it has stylish and modern interior decorating in the hallways (renovated last year) cons: - pillows on the harder side - no facilities (pool)

strategic location. located in the middle of the town. nice view from the hotel price in town. the staff are great. helpful. very recommended.easy access, can easily find parking for your car.

Stayed here for three days on a business trip and were very impressed. The hotel was clean, staff were super friendly and helpful, and we found it a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. The wifi was good enough to work most of the time, although dropped out from time to time. Room service was timely, and the portions were generous and tasty. Great, central area in Petaling Jaya, and good value for money. Only one minus to report. My partner is Indonesian with long hair. When he went out the front of the hotel to smoke, he was sworn at by hotel security and told to "get the F#@& away from the area." He tried to tell them he stayed here and they didn't believe him initially. I appreciate the security doing their job, but there are more polite ways to enquire if someone is staying or not. That put a downside on the stay for us.

The Hotel Armada in Petaling Jaya is an older hotel that was built 20 years ago. It has nearly 200 rooms, all of which have been newly renovated. From spring until autumn 2019, the lobby is overhauled. The hotel offers reasonable prices. It is adjacent to the Sheraton and 200 meters from the Hilton. The German school of Petaling Jaya can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The MRT station is located 600 meters from the hotel. A free shuttle bus is offered. The rooms are newly renovated and offer a good comfort which is tailored to business travelers. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. Internet worked perfectly. The breakfast buffet is rich with Western and Asian food. A lunch and a dinner buffet are offered at a fair price. To be said that the chairs are looking filthy and are a disgrace. They do not inspire to take food in the restaurant. The hotel has two bars. In the direct surroundings there are little shops, but at the nearby gas station the most common articles and drinks are available. Taxis can be called with the application «Grab taxi» at the phone at the counter of the bell boy. They are present within a few minutes. Taxi fares in Kuala Lumpur are inexpensive. The fare to go to the reach the huge shopping mall in Bukit Utama is around USD 4.-. The Bukit Utama shopping mall is according to statistics globally the 7th largest 5.5 million sqft. There are plentiful restaurants and snack bars where everyone can find something to eat.

Room is spacious and comfortable. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner have lots of variety of food (unable to sample all) and delicious. Hotel ground floor under renovation but did not affect services and did not cause any disturbance. The ballroom used for meetings was spacious and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Location - taxi has to be familiar on how to get to hotel because of the one way streets.

We were at Hotel Armada for a very short stay but it left a lasting impression on us. The location was nothing to crow about, but the rooms and especially the staff, were just fabulous. I think they just completed the renovations on their rooms and it was amazing. We were upgraded so were lucky to have occupied two different types of rooms and both did not disappoint. The grand deluxe room and the toilet were spacious and shall remain our favourite category. The tastefully furnished premier room was lushly carpeted and had a luxurious feel to it. And the view were to die for! The one thing that made our stay superb were the staff. Rain and her team of Front Office colleagues took care of us and all of our requests were met enthusiastically. From arranging a bottle of wine for our friend in another room, to allowing her to take some wedding shots in the lobby, nothing was too much for them. Staff plays an important role in every hospitality establishment in ensuring guests were well taken care of and that they leave with happy memories. The staff at Hotel Armada definitely nailed this!

Close to the LRT station. Great price. The room is clean and comfortable. I like the fact that it was quiet too! It is undergoing renovation at the moment but I didn't hear a single sound that detracted me from enjoying my stay here..

Staying at this newly refurbished hotel in Petaling Jaya for one night. However, i hope the hotel will do something to the carpet because when i was lying on the carpet to do my exercise i was bitten with small bugs on my legs and body. Then red spots starts to appear and very itchy. I had to put calamine lotion.

The buffet for seniors on Friday night cost about MR65.The food is nothing to shout about. Normal, but the condition of the chairs are disgraceful. Even the Salvos would not accept it.It is so worn out and in tatters that it is unbelievable that management did nothing about it. Hope someone can read this. I used to stay in this hotel a few years ago.

Utara Coffee House surely needs some attention. The place is so rundown. For a 4 star hotel, was indeed surprised to see the condition of the cushion chairs at the coffee house. so old, dirty...oh ghoshhhh just cannot belief it. food spread is slightly below average
