We stayed 4 nights in the hotel after a long honeymoon trip around Myanmar. Hotel is amazing, in front of a lovely private beach (enjoy sunset there, is a unique experience) and with all facilities you can think of: nice pool, free kayak and padel surf, free yoga masterclass on Wednesdey morning, massages on demmand, etc. Most of the days we enjoyed all these hotel facilities (it was perfect to relax after the Myanmar trip), except one that we visited the islands near by (4 islands + Hong island) with Andaman Camp and Cruise (ask for Paula). Dinner at the Thai restaurant from the hotel is also lovely, nice lights, nice live music, good food and good price. We completely recommend the hotel, specially if you are looking for relax and lovely sightseeings.

Very nice resort in a very nice and quiet location. Away from the crowd , this resort was a piece of quiet. We really had a good time there. Very clean Friendly and helpful staffs Breakfast and food choice with enough selection to please everyone. Swimmingpool/beach both clean with good service Will definitly be happy to come back!

I always take pleasure in searching the perfect little holiday gem for me and my family. The Tubkaak resort was by far everything we had hoped it would be! The location is great, service is very personal (the staff new my sons name as of day one), the evironment lush green and rooms and villa's beautifully decorated. And don't let me start about the food....We are the biggest fans of Thai food and could have stayed another three weeks to enjoy everything the restaurant had to offer! We did one boat trip but to be honest, for relaxing, you don't really need to leave the resort, hello SPA! (without getting that horrible all inclusive feeling btw). Every night you have the perfect view to the most beautiful sunset, so romantic! The fact that the owners took really good care for the area (they tried to work around all the gorgeous trees) can be seen in all the lush green. As a traveller in a foreign country I do believe we have the obligation to take the local environment into account, so this was just perfect. I would certainly recommand this place as a family holiday. My son (almost 3) loved every bit of it. From feeding the fish at breakfast, the private pool, joining in a traditional food offering to Thai monk, searching for shelfs on the beach to the monkey that tried to steal our neighbours chocolate croissants ;) You will have a great time here FOR SURE!

We have just returned from one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had-and we have had a lot in many beautiful places. Everything was catered for, all the staff were friendly and attentive. The setting was beautiful, with the beach being cleaned 3x per day. The views are lovely and the local wildlife were fun! The sea was as warm as a bath and the main pool was quiet and clean. We stayed in the Tubkaak suite aka room 100-there were 3 of us. We wanted 2 beds, one for our pre-teen; but she ended up staying in our lounge (bed made up daily by staff) as there was no connecting door to our room (which she used as a wardrobe/shower room) for older teenagers this would be ideal (in fact she has asked if we can return with a friend!) We had our own private pool, cleaned daily and we ordered food for lunch from the restaurant each day which was delivered to our pool. Our mini bars were filled daily (for free) and we got 2 free massages (My husband changed mine to a 90 min oil massage which was splendid! and well worth the £)We visited the Krabi night market (using the hotel taxi) which was fun, and went into Ao Nang twice in the evening (reminded me of Blackpool) and the Tiger Cave Temple (2.5 hrs max), other than that there really was no need to leave. We usually hire a car and go off to explore but none of used wanted to leave the pool or beach! We only had 1 full rainy day (it is rainy season) and we happily sat in our beautiful room playing games and reading. We watched a few films in the evenings, and our beds were turned down during our evening meal, the oil burners smelt divine (I bought the same oils at the airport to remind me of our holiday) and the bathrooms had everything you needed-cotton balls, bath salts, sewing kits etc.. our beach towels were changed daily, we used the umbrellas and flip flops whilst there, and the slippers and dressing gowns were fab! No little detail was overlooked. I have asked my husband if we can put in a outdoor shower and bath (but we decided that Dartmoor it's a bit nippy!) We loved our holiday, the restaurants were both lovely, the staff were attentive and did not mind one bit bringing our daughter a pizza from the Italian whilst we were eating at the Thai! We often went to happy hour 5:30-6:30 for cocktails. The breakfasts were tasty-with lots on offer, and we particularly liked the freshly cooked pancakes, omelettes and waffles. Children can also feed the Koi carp swimming happily around the restaurant. A great place to visit if you want to relax and do absolutely nothing! ...well, eat, drink, swim (do yoga if you wanted) kayak, relax & enjoy! MY LAST REVIEW FOR HERE WAS POSTED IN THE WRONG PLACE! AS WERE MY PICS WHICH I'VE REPORTED TY

Far from center but much appreciated as very quiet and natural. Owners have understood to keep the resort as natural possible having many old trees and a great Beach. Best view you can ask for and perfect to relax. Food is good and breakfast sufficient choice (would hope the hotel invests in a proper coffee machine ) Great staff and Best Italian restaurant you can find around - the pizza is a must to try. Restaurant Prices for the quality in a hotel very reasonable!

Tubkaak Boutique Hotel is absolutely amazing.. the views are so pictorial.. Best place to relax and unwind. Quiet environment with extremely friendly and helpful staff who would basically help u with anything u want.. Since we had a bad experience with the airline we traveled they went out of the way to help us to ensure that our stay would be pleasant. Food is great! Large, clean rooms with all the amenities required. We stayed in the Beach Pool Villa and I just couldn't ask for more from them. I would definitely come back and would recommend this place to anyone. One of the best for honeymooners. Keep up your good work! All the Best Period of travel - 12th Aug - 15th Aug 2017 (3nights)

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Beautiful well equipped accommodation situated on a private beach. We has a seaview bungalow 10m from the beach with a balcony, outside double bath and shower room. The food at both the Thai and italian restaurants on site was excellent with good service at both. The beach was quiet and there were plenty of sunbeams, bean bags etc to sit on. Kayaks could be hired free on the beach. What stood out for us was the attentiveness of the staff and their kindness. We had arrived from Chiangmai suffering from a nasty tummy bug and they prepared us special plain foods and gave us extra free bottles of water all at no charge. They sent us flowers for the room and provided local medication. On the final night they filled our bath with petals which was a lovely thought. It was very peaceful -there were lots of lovely excursions possible such as boat snorkelling trips, elephant safaris, hiking etc.the spa is lovely and we had a complimentary thai massage which was spectacular.

We booked the Tubkaak as the 'beach part' of our honeymoon travelling around South East Asia. The facilities, staff and view were all exceptional and I would highly recommend. The only issues we had were the weather and the costs in the hotel. It rained or was at least very overcast the whole time we were there. We had read that the rainy season meant a couple of hours rain a day and sunshine apart from this. (Obviously can't complain at the weather and we still had a fantastic time). Also the costs in the hotel were a bit steep - 4 shandies and 2 pad Thais were £50. A cooking lesson was £125 for the two of us, but we found that a nearby provider offered the same service and hotel pickup for a fraction of this cost. With it being rainy we considered having a massage however this was between £50 and £100 which we decided was not an acceptable price. Overall we had an excellent stay and would definitely visit again and recommend to others but would suggest visiting Krabi town and Ao Nang for cheaper activities on rainy days!

My partner and I stayed at the tubkaak for 5 nights from the 4th August. It was our third and final visit/destination in Thailand. One word - AMAZING! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful, the beach is lovely, the staff are fantastic and the food is good! We stayed in room 119 and it was gorgeous, the maids do a great job (mid morning) and the turn down service is also 1st class in the early evening. We ate at both restaurants and found them both to be lovely but we preferred the Thai restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very good and a special mention for the pancakes, they were perfect daily! 👌🏻 Cocktails are good too but we made the most of the happy hour as it's bogof. The pools great and there was always spare beds (in August anyway). The beach is lovely and very secluded! We had a Thai massage and this was very good! We also used the hotels shuttle service to go to the night market on the Sunday evening, that was worthwhile as it's a great market with some bargains to be had! We went into the local village twice which cost 300 baht each way (it's a 5 min drive but takes an hour to walk), the bars (shacks) on the beach are well worth a visit. Top food, pretty cheap too. Well prices beer and a beautiful view especially as the sun sets!!! Positives: Awesome hotel Excellent service Good food Beautiful local Negatives: It's bit isolated (5 mins drive to local village, 30 minutes drive to main town) Drinks a bit pricey Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully return..... Thank you to all at the tubkaak.
