We stayed for 2 weeks back in October , from the minute we arrived the staff were absolutely fabulous, so friendly towards you & nothing, and I mean nothing was a bother to them. The rooms were clean and spacious with everything need in the room. The food @ breakfast was plentiful. We will definitely be returning to this hotel as it felt like being part of a family and not a hotel guest. 12 out 10 to this resort for it's professionalism and most importantly the friendliness of all the staff, I would recommend this hotel to anyone
From the start to the finish was an enjoyable holiday very friendly staff , nothing to much trouble for the staff to help they go out of there way to help pool area very clean and tidy plenty of sun beds all day
We stayed at the hotel in October. We found a clean and well maintained hotel, the public areas are very large and clean. The rooms are simple, and unfortunately the bed was old and squeaking and the mattress wasn't comfortable. The food was good however we thought that the dining room was fairly expensive (we paid €4.30 for a 750 ml sparking water bottle). Staff was always available with any of our requests. The location of the hotel is good, 15-20 minutes walking from the old city. To sum things up a very good weekend!
Room and hotel were spotlessly clean, towels and bedding changed regularly. All staff were friendly & helpful. Hotel is set back from the main road about 20 minutes stroll from the harbour, so ideal if you like quiet with liveliness close by. The pool gave a refreshing break from the heat, if needed. Food was buffet style and a good choice available at all times. Greek nights were good fun and everybody was encouraged to have a go at the traditional Greek dancing. To sum up, our stay at the Continental Palace was a complete pleasure!!
We went to Continental in May and September as has become our routine. The hotel was superb as usual and there were no signs of Migrants. All of the staff were excellent and it would be unfair to single anyone out. We had our usual room which we appreciated. There were plenty of amenities in the hotel and the resort for the type of holiday we wanted. I cannot think of anything which I found wanting.
Stayed at the Continental Palace for 11 nights in August. Initially we booked with Locostholidays but lost our booking due to their demise. I rang the hotel and spoke to Maria who was marvellous and subsequently rebooked. What can I say the staff especially Maria and Irene were fabulous , nothing was too much trouble and I can see why many people return year on year. Spotless rooms, quiet air on, great location, cycle hire directly outside and great eateries nearby. Thankyou Irene ,Maria and all the other staff for making our holiday special.
Returned home from Kos on Monday 19th September, stayed in room 305, lovely clean room, spacious and lots of storage space, balcony was a good size with a side view of the sea and gardens. Food was good but needed more variety in the evenings, had to pay for water in the evenings which i thought was wrong. The location was great just a twenty minute stroll into Kos town, lots of places to eat and drink, nice to eat and drink in the evenings on the beach, the Four Roses across the road from the hotel was lovely and had Happy Hour from 8-12pm daily. The staff at the hotel were the best most friendly people who do their best to make your stay the best it can be, Irena and Aneka were so nice and always had time for you Considering this was our first time in Kos and we didnt pay a lot for the holiday we had a great time in a lovely place and would definitley go back
Clean hotel with nice staff. Unfortunately the food is really terrible. Breakfast is poor and the food in snackbar and during diner is cheap and not looking and tasting good. Rooms are clean and ok, but depends where situated. Some rooms are very noisy and warm, because they have all day sun.
The room offered beds, endless hot water, a fridge (if we paid for it) and a Tv, but it was nothing special. The food was plentiful but lacked inspiration and did nothing to promote Greek or international cuisine. The staff were fine, the hotel's location good and the pool clean and a good size. There was nothing to complain about, but the Continental Palace lacked any real spark and was rather dated as far as others go, though it's public spaces are very good. We had a happy holiday and enjoyed Kos town which is a short walk away along the sea front. I would not want to put people off, for the money it's fine.
First of all hotel has AMAZING staff. Everybody works there really well. Location is good as well. About 15 min from the very city center, in front of hotel is pebbly beach, bike rent office, taverna ( which i couldn't recommend cuz, its cheap, but food is awful). Pool area is also good, a lot of sun beds, clean and spacious pool. Rooms i could say rather tired, but you got what you pay for. Food is normal, on breakfast you will find eggs, ham, cheese, few types of bread, tomato, cucumber, yogurts, cereals, biscuits, sometimes pancakes or cheese pie, waffles. On dinner always a lot of vegetables, one type of soup (everyday was different), fish or seafood, pork, beef, lamb, chicken and of course one dish is always something traditional (like mousaka, souvilaki and etc). Always maybe 4 - 6 different deserts, and ice creams. On dinner time you need to pay extra for drinks (3,3 eur for big bottle of table water, or 15 eur for nice wine). If its your birthday or any other aniwersary the hotel sends you a fruit plate to your rooms with wishes and makes you a happy birthday delicious cake. In conclusion i could say hotel is worth the money you pay. I would recommend it for all type of age guests.
