This is a fabulous hotel. We stayed as a family of four with 13 and 11 year old kids in a deluxe junior suite. The room was very clean and comfortable. The kids had a double sofa bed, which was big enough for the teen who’s taller than her mother. The bathroom was just stunning. The Beech is soft sand and the water warm and blue. Kayaks and pedalos are available. The pools are clean and not overcrowded. Sun beds are always available at both pool and beach, as is drinks service direct to the sunbed. The food in all the restaurants is excellent. Kids menus are always available but ours tried lots of new stuff. The staff are very friendly and generally efficient. We’d like to mention Ioanna, who worked in Kos and Anaya, who epitomised this. She was so friendly and very efficient. Room service is inclusive, we had some toasted sandwiches washed down with champagne! I would definitely recommend the mini experience, the island is easy to drive around and Kos is a lovely little town. The only negative we found was that sometimes the drinks service could be rather slow. One breakfast we left without any tea. Having said that, I am sure that this was a teething problem and will improve as the season progresses. We will definitely be returning.

IKOS Aria is quite simply stunning. Exquisitely designed throughout with fantastic sea and mountain views and superb service levels to match (the couple of very minor issues were quickly dealt with). From gardener to manager, everyone we encountered greeted us with a genuine smile and "hello". I travelled with my grown up daughter and we stayed in a Deluxe Garden View Suite (8106) which overlooked the pool. We tried all of the restaurants (either at lunch or dinner) and whilst we of course had our personal favourites, they would be just that and unfair to recommend one over another. The wine list is extensive and very good (unlike some AI resorts) and the cocktails are delicious made with top quality spirits. Good gym, plenty of equipment and space. Excellent spa. We arrived the week after half term and consequently there were a lot of pre-school age children which the resort caters extremely well for, whilst providing adult only eating areas in most restaurants. We would avoid the main school holidays as I can imagine the pools and restaurants would be much noisier than we experienced and we now want/need a much calmer holiday experience. The bike, trikes and other modes of transport available for little people are a touch of genius. Effie, we didn't get the chance to meet, but I congratulate you on managing the opening of such a beautiful resort. Finally, a couple of personal highlights. Deluxe reception, bar and restaurant teams. Your hospitality is observant, warm and generous. We left relaxed and reinvigorated. Deluxe pool team. Fantastic, friendly and unassuming service. Thank you for keeping us hydrated, even if it wasn't always with water! Olive oil ice cream and 'Foxes' Rose wine.......visit to see if you agree with us!!.

We stayed for 7 nights with our 9 year old daughter. We have previously visited Oceania and were excited to visit a brand new resort. Aria didn't disappoint, the whole resort is filled with stunning views and the design is clean and modern. Everything you expect from an Ikos resort, great food, beautiful rooms, fabulous food and amazing service. We will be back and know the experience will be even better as the new staff improve and learn the Ikos Way!! Special mentions to Effie, hotel manager, who kept in touch throughout to ensure we had a great trip, Paris and Isik at the beach pool made our holiday. Also the two ladies who run Ouzo, Georgia and Aggelikis (I think!), were also really helpful.

The Ikos Area resort is stunning with tailored gardens, beautiful blue pools, modern sun loungers and some stunning decoration/furniture in reception and in the deluxe area, and the above photographs clearly show this. What unfortunately isn’t visible until you’ve stayed there a few days is the poor state/management of the housekeeping department…not what you would expect from a new 5 star resort that’s only been open three weeks. The evening we arrived I was informed my room had been doubled booked, which was both strange and annoying as the hotel had only opened two weeks earlier. We were taken to a standard room with single beds which was again another disappointment as I’m 6ft 2in and over 100Kgs so sleeping in a single bed is both difficult and uncomfortable. The cost of the first night’s stay was refunded and we received an apologies but at 11pm in the evening after traveling all day is again very very disappointing. On the morning of the second day were moved to the room we had actually booked and it was very nice with a sea view, but once we returned to the room in the evening we found our patio doors had been left open all day and the room had not been made up, and no clean towels. The manager Mr. Panos who had already dealt with my earlier misfortunes was again very apologetic and after scanning the room card access informed us housekeeping had been called away to another room and had forgot to both return and finish our room or secure it before they left. As a result of the patio doors being left open all day we have dozens of mosquitos in our room all evening, but luckily nothing was stolen……Unfortunately the poor housekeeping lasted the rest of the holiday with some days with no clean towels, water in the mini bar and two days of no toilet paper. By far the worst episode was the booking of a private yacht for my wife’s birthday which we did via the events manager in reception. The yacht was £1000 for 2.5hrs, not including fuel but as it was my wife’s special birthday we went ahead and booked it. The event supervisor put us through to the room service manager and we booked sandwiches, wine some spirits and soft drinks to take with us. We turned up at reception at the advised time the following day to meet the shuttle and collect our picnic, and was then told there was no food and drink…the lady we had spoken to on the phone and had repeated our order to us had not passed the order on to the kitchen, so for some 45mins we stood arguing in reception with my wife present for who this was to be a special Birthday surprise. Again apologies for the inconvenience were given but now these apologies are becoming meaningless. After 45mins the sandwiches and drink arrived but the special occasion had now been ruined, the cost of the trip was refunded. I am a seasoned traveller visiting more than 30 countries a year on business and on vacations, and I think one day the Area will be a great addition to the Ikos group, but not in the near future. I would say there needs to be some extensive training of the housekeeping team and management, and the communication in the kitchens needs to be smartened up as absolute basics such as main meals coming before starters on more than one occasion in three different restaurants should never ever happen. Two good points to mention are the pizza in the Italian restaurant are to die for, the dough base and toppings are first class as is there mozzarella and tomato Caprees salad. The food presentation overall is also first class and I have added some photos above to show this. On a positive note there are some outstanding people we met such as Pisti at the seasons/deluxe pool who remembered our names, preferred drinks and room numbers from the first day, as did her colleague Anne Marie. Mr. Panos dealt with mine and my other four friends many issues in a professional and accommodating way and is obviously a perfectionist. Overall a disappointing 10 day holiday made worse by being my wife’s special birthday, we wish we had gone back to Ikos Halkidiki or Sandals. This experience of the new hotel opening has now put us of visiting the new Ikos in Spain which we had planned to do in June next year.

We stayed at Ikos Aria with friends for just a week, we should of realised after staying at other ikos resorts previously that a week wouldn’t be enough, ARIA is so wonderful you just won’t want to leave! The food is outstanding especially at Anaya and Seasons, the accommodation is lovely, the free BMW hire car to see the island was fab, but what makes ARIA so special are the people, they are just wonderful! After just a week it felt like I had a load of new BFF’s they are so warm and friendly and can’t do enough for you. FILIO is a superstar! She’s a lovely young lady that generally wants to help and nothing is too much trouble! FOTINI is just lovely, she has a very warm welcoming smile and again looked after us very well. Also, Aggeliki and Caxey were wonderful too. Laurence went out of his way on many occasions to sort out our sunbeds along with Paris. And finally, Kleidi bless him, such a nice lad that helped us out one day, thank you Kleidi! We met the general manager Effie who is walking around the resort each day checking everything is ok, and is very keen to hear your feedback, she surprised us with a bottle of wine in our room and a lovely had written card which shows you how much Effie and all her staff care about customer service, which I have to say is 5 star! If you haven’t booked your summer holiday yet I’d highly recommend Ikos Aria, if you’ve already booked, but for only a week, then I’d recommend you change it to TWO as you won’t want to leave!

We visited the newly opened Ikos Aria end of May beginning of June and there were a few service issues but minimal and they did not spoil holiday - some new staff learning but all very helpful and happy. Special mention to Paris and Isik who were at the pool - Paris has previously worked for Sani which showed in his persona and professionalism and Isik was her first time at Ikos resort and she was extremely helpful and always happy and nothing was too much to ask - this applied to all staff we came across. Our favourite restaurants were Anaya, Fresco and the Province - food was exceptional and the way it was presented was simply class. Would highly recommend - we managed to get a good deal through a company called Travelbeam who again I would highly recommend.

Just spend 10 nights in the deluxe part of the newly opened Ikos Aria. It was the second time for us with Ikos. Nice accommodation, fantastic service and superb quality. Large choice of food tastes/cuisines and large choice of (international premium label) drinks. All inclusive redefined! After two holidays we can definitely recommend the ikos concept to everyone who wants to have a luxurious relaxed real all inclusive holiday experience.

We have just had the holiday of a lifetime. We enjoyed a lovely week at the Ikos Aria. The facilities, from the restaurants, pools, beaches, bike hire, kids football & kids club were fantastic. Every single staff member was extremely courteous and helpful. The standard of food was first class. Seasons, Kos, Provence and Ouzo all had exceptional food and service. Everything was taken care of, including free room service and free minibar in the room. We really hope to return. AMAZING 😉
