Rooms were large and stayed cool with two AC units

Great place to stay . We love everything on this place

My husband and I liked the pool and views the best. It’s an older resort, but still decent enough. We stayed 4 nights.

It was not what We expected. Was just ok. If I will have to go to Kauai again I will not choose this property. Parking lot too far from the apartment. We stayed for 6 days and only one day we had housekeeping and was very poor. No beach at this property. No groceries general store in property and you need to drive far to get one. No air conditioner in the kids room, was very warm there in night. It’s ok, but I wouldn’t go again.

The property was well maintained and far exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious and well equipped. We cooked many meals and found everything we needed for cooking. Although the room was slated as a resort view room, the room included a view of the ocean. The pool was wonderful and perfect for our younger family members, as well as the adults. The walking path that connected this resort to the Hyatt and Shipwreck Beach was perfect. The resort was also not overly crowded, nor were any of the common areas. That is a plus in our book! I would highly recommend this resort to others.

We've been here before and enjoyed it then also. Staff is super nice..I wish I could remember the young lady's name that checked us in-- she was above and beyond! Food and drink and service at the pool bar and grill were great. The one single negative is that while both bedrooms have Air-conditioning , the common areas of the kitchen and living room dont. But all in all this place is still one of the best Stay-cation places for locals looking to treat themselves to a day or two of relaxation with their keiki. And Im sure it should be up to the standards of the majority of visitors from off-island.

The location is great. The pool was really nice. I paid for an ocean view and it was partially obstructed with asphalt and future home lots in the foreground, which took away from the gorgeous natural scenery everywhere else. I also did not like the sales approach of our first concierge that was on us to book other excursions right as we arrived after a long flight and delays. It felt less like a resort and more like we were visitors to a members only joint. I think Diamond is like this though. Same vibe at the last Diamond “resort” I stayed at. Too much of it is timeshares.

The room was nicer than expected beautiful property wish we could have gone to the beach from there though

There were roaches when we arrived. We asked for extra coffee and they charged us for it and creamer was old. Room wasn’t cleaned once while we were there.

Location is great. Staff was friendly. The set up of the room was ideal because we had a full kitchen and access to a gas grill. Bed was comfortable. Negatives were....kitchen cabinet doors needed cleaning, As well as the grout on the bathroom floor. Kitchen could have used medium size bowls to mix food in.

It was nicely located close to the beach. Great pool area and happy hour was quite reasonably priced! The unit was spacious and clean. The only negative, the walls specially the ceiling is very thin. Not very pleasant to hear all the noise.

Wonderful to have a kitchen and washer and dryer. The pool had lots of shallow areas so great for the kids.

Fantastic property. The concierge was extremely nosey, asking several personal questions about my girlfriend and my relationship status. Three days later, my girlfriend stopped being upset about this and I was able to enjoy my time here.

Spacious comfortable rooms. Great pool. Friendly servers at pool bar. Lovely views. Clean, well maintained property. Perfect location.

Parking too far from rooms and lots of steps to some of the buildings. Not a restaurant on site, just a grill at the pool with limited menu and not great quality. Lovely accommodations and staff very helpful.
