I loved everything about this property. We didn’t have a pool villa, but it was so big and beautiful. The bathtub especially was nice and large. Very reasonably priced and I loved the views from our villa and the pool. Walking down to coral cove is doable but steep but they can take you down there as well!

This property is beautiful and serene. This is a luxurious stay with an attentive staff on all aspects. The only downside is the villas are located on a steep cliff which will require a shuttle from the hotel to your desired location which means some preplanning and flexibility on your part whcih was the only downside for us. It limited our dining options. We would stay again with this in mind. The views and the pool were worth it!

i had such an amazing time at this hotel, we had the pool villa and had a stunning view, the staff was incredibly nice to us and welcoming. We highly recommend. Only bad part is it is tough to get up the hill… most taxis won’t make the drive and if you rent a car i recommend a bigger car or you won’t make it up. Hotel does offer shuttle if needed.

Sandalwood is an amazing place to stay! It is a bit inconvenient due to the location being on top of a very steep hill but the views are worth it. Staff was incredible and made it very easy to book taxis down and back to the rest of the island. Everything is managed over WhatsApp. The private pool we had was very nice. The room is a bit outdated and we had a bit of a bug issue but nothing we couldn’t manage. Restaurant is just okay. Would definitely stay here again for the views alone!

Absolutely everyone should consider staying here with in Koh Samui especially during the rainy season. We got the private pool which was incredible and the view was wonderful. It felt so fancy and the hotel itself had everything you needed on site. Everyone who works here was so kind. I’m truly grateful for their help in sending back my left behind and for their hospitality with every interaction I had with them.

My wife and I had the most amazing honeymoon in koh samui, we stayed at sandalwood and it was unbelievable, the views are stunning the staff are soo friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Bougainvilla and would highly recommend anyone to go check it out. Also make sure to visit the on site restaurant Blue Ginger, quite possibly one of the best places to eat in the island. 10/10 unreal holiday destination

My wife and I stayed here for one night and the place was amazing! It isn’t too far from the airport and we were able to get there with no problem by getting a taxi once we landed. It is a little bit of a drive up the mountain (but not much) to get there and the climb is worth it! When we got there, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They got us checked in quickly and we walked up to our room. The layout is essentially a bunch of individual villas along a winding path. When we got to our villa, we were welcomed with a stunning view overlooking the ocean that was visible from pretty much every room! We had a private pool just outside the villa and a bottle of wine we could purchase so we headed out back to drink some wine in the pool while watching an amazing sunset! The villa had a couple of TVs and had good air conditioning, so we were comfortable the entire night and absolutely loved the place. It left us wishing we could have stayed a few more nights. The rooms do require a little walking but nothing strenuous. There aren’t any restaurants nearby but there was a nice hotel restaurant that was quick and easy with lots of good options including breakfast. There was a bit of construction going on in the morning nearby and it sounds like that has been happening for a while. It isn’t being done by the hotel. That was about the only disruption and it wasn’t anything severe enough to keep us from booking here again. Overall it was an amazing stay!
