Basic room but lovely location and facilities

This was a more basic option for our holiday so cannot fault it based on what we paid. The resort was great, located on the beach with a restaurant, bar, pool which were all excellent. The room felt like it needed a bit of work, the mattress was super hard and the cover was meant for a single bed so nearly fell out with the other half 😁 The bathroom, I’m sure was clean, but was in desperate need of some TLC, like a new toilet seat.

My favorite place

I stay here every year when coming to Thailand front which United States. It’s perfect - all chill, no pretension. It’s right on the beach with a close, beautiful view of the ocean. Delicious food too.

Hotel says in room safe, there is no safe. bathroom is partially outdoors. the shower was bad. Every thing was wired with only tape overing the exposed ends of wires. All night long there is birds chickens and other critters that make noise. the food was okay, the place is also overrun by ants and roaches.

Staff lovely, kind helpful. Beach side chalet was almost in the sea. Wonderful views. Nice pool. Yes, it is not as modern as some hotels, but was a lovely place to stay. Teammates stayed in 3 other hotels within 100m. All had problems (leaking toilet, no wifi, ant infestations). None had any sort of view.

An older style property. Some areas need a bit of work, but if you are after something retro just outside of the busy area of Lamai, this is for you. The Pool was very very warm (approx 40 degs) due to the hot weather. This was the only thing that was annoying but i guess its out of control of the management.

The overall staying at Lamai Chalet is pleasant. The owner and the staffs are so friendly and helpful. The environment is quiet and cosy but is out of town so you need transport like car or motorbike to go around. The little complaints i would like to voice out is that the cleanliness of the bathroom is poor, the mattress is so hard to sleep, no bottle water provided in the room and this is the first time i stayed in the room without water provided. I hope the owner may improve the weakness.

ห้องพักค่อนข้างดี สะอาด แต่ห้องน้ำไม่มีที่แขวนผ้า ตอนถามว่ารวมอาหารเช้าไหมตอนแรกบอกรวม ตอนเข้าพักแล้วบอกราคานี้ลดแล้วไม่รวมอาหารเช้า เหมือนปิดบังข้อมูลตอนแรก แต่โดยรวมก็ถือว่าใช้ได้ในแง่ของทำเล เพราะติดทะเลและมีสระว่ายน้ำด้วย ห้องพักมีขนาดสำหรับ 6ท่านด้วยถือว่าใช้ได้อยู่

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service. Das Essen im Hotel war auch gut. Die Zimmer wurden jeden zweiten Tag gereinigt. Massage gleich heim Hotel. Der Strand war toll, mal mit mehr und mal mit weniger Wellen. Am Strand entlang hat es mehrere Restaurants. Kommen gerne wieder.
