Great staff and service. They were so helpful starting from picking us up from the station, helps with luggages, the detailed explanation by the checkin receptionist anout the hotel and the surrounding areas to visit. Always polite and greet us in every moment. Definitely recommended.

Best hotel in Kawaguchiko

Stayed a night in the Japanese style room with family. We had the best experience from start to finish. The staff picked us up from Kawaguchiko station via shuttle within 5 minutes of arriving, checked us into our room a bit earlier, gave us outstanding recommendations on places to dine and activities. The room itself is fabulous with views of the lake and Mt. Fuji out of our balcony! Room has all the amenities you’d need including western style bathroom, hot water kettle with coffee and robes. We also used the onsen which had an incredible view of Mt Fuji. Overall we absolutely loved our stay at New Century Hotel. The highlight of the hotel is the kind and outstanding staff who go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible! Highly highly recommend!

Exceptional hospitality & great Fuji views

Even for Japan, the service and hospitality at this hotel were extraordinary. Every single staff member was so cheerful and courteous in helping plan travel logistics to maximize the limited time I had. The hotel offered and arranged transport from the train station multiple times. The rooms have a nice retro charm and the views of Mount Fuji, across the lake, were phenomenal. The onsen was a lovely experience. Breakfast was delightful with very helpful explanations of items served - the Fuji views were a great bonus! This is one of the best hotel stays I had in Japan over a month of traveling - the staff took such evident pride in Japanese and onsen cultures and traditions and ensured that guests had the very best chance at enjoying both.
