This place is amazing!! From the moment you get on the boat and are handed a cold towel and water to the check out, the staff makes you feel like a million bucks!! We felt pampered, cared for and at home! The villas are amazing and we didn't want to leave. Our romantic dinner on the beach and outdoor candlelight bath in a tub filled with orchids were truly unforgettable!! The customer service is without equal! Check this place out and let me know if you need a porter...I'm available.
This is my first visit to Phuket, my friends flight was delayed almost 1 hour on 11June, when we get to the Pick Up Port, it was late for 1 hour as well, afraid that we may missed the speedboat hahaha, thank you for your staff kept waiting me there, made our arrival experience! We reserved 2 villa, stay for 5 nights in total. The room was not like those luxury hotel which I stayed before like Ritz Carlton or Banyan Tree, but I like the style here, natural and simple, and thank you for assign connecting villa 19&20. The small garden and outdoor pool suitable for Family visitors, next time I shall bring my mother and little brother here. Beside two gentlemen pick us up, the lady who do the in room check in for us is cute and deliver warm welcome again, feel that home away from home. As a hotelier who also work in Front Office, I really appreciate that, thank you so much! Turn down service nice too, thank you lovely villa attendant – Mr.Naf and Mod, thank you for write those lovely wishes to me, I took back to Macau and laminate it. During lunch time, small talk with restaurant staff, he seems very proud of this resort, and share his hometown and his story to me, all the resort staff were friendly honestly, thank you~ Besides that, the food quality may need to improve a little bit since there is only 2 restaurant available on the island, it’s quite important for all guest visit here. In all, the stay was nice, my friend all enjoyed the relaxation trip in Naka Island, I definitely will come back again!
This resort is absolutely amazing! Beautiful villa, excellent food, delicious dinner cooked by chef Jonathan! The customer experience was fantastic! The staff is attentive and friendly! I would recommend to try spa, its the best massage I have ever had! Special thanks to khun Bew and Khun Pla, they are amazing therapists! This is a resort that you will never be disappointed, the whole experience is amazing! Thank you to all staff, management, we will definitely come back!
One of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in, 2 beautiful beaches, villas, sea side restaurants and bars, we could not have asked for more Upon arriving via the speed boat we were told a wonderful story of the island's "mythical dragon" and taken straight to our villa by Lisa on a golf buggy, even though we checked in early they accommodated us straight away, they made us feel so genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Fon then did a great job at showing us around the villa and explaining what the hotel offers and showing us every detail of the room. My partner and I asked plenty of questions which she answered always with a warm and caring smile. Furthermore we dined in the restaurants about 3 times, being greeted by the General Manager Erich, the executive chef Johnathon and also the F and B managers, it seemed they could not do enough to ensure everything was going perfectly with our stay. Boom and Aurelian were those we saw most often at the Ton Sai restaurant who seemed to know our names before we had even mentioned our room numbers. Our dinner at the my Grill restaurant which was cooked by their famous executive chef was probably the most delicious meal I have ever had, with a beautiful service from Group who was always on standby for anything we needed with a smile. The wine service he took care of was a particular highlight. The executive chef himself came out and made sure everything was being enjoyed, mentioning the crabs were caught that morning! We tried out the spa once, and if we had had more time would have gone more. Upon arriving Rose and Pooky who were both part of the management team greeted us by name and were again ensuring that we had everything we neededand were enjoying our time. I was taken care by Pla and my partner by Bew, when we discussed it afterwards we both agreed it was magical. The spa is a beautiful area and I had not seen anything quite like it before. I tried staying awake the whole time just so I could enjoy how good it felt. We also used the hotels snorkel equipments and kayaks which was complimentary! When we spoke to the team we were very impressed with their English speaking ability and they made small talk to ensure that everything was going well with our stay, we even got complimentary ice cream after from them! I believe their names were Beer and Safe. There were many other people we met who deserved being mentioned however there were to many names to remember, genuine smiles, caring service and double checking everything was going well made it feel like a home from home from the moment we arrived. We will definitely be returning again soon but plan to make it a much longer stay!
Stayed here for two nights. Absolutely fabulous. The rooms are a mix of open air and indoor. Massive baths and in bathroom steamroom. Having our own pool was great but don't miss the infinity pool overlooking the beach. Service was attentive but discreet. Great breakfast including sparkling wine (needs to be requested) and diy bloody marys.
Had a great lunch ( nice light salad , homemade pasta and a super tasty sorbet ) with wonderful views on Ao Po bay. Definitely worth the trip to the Island ! Call the resort, they will fix the boat for you from Ao Po Marina.
Pros 1) Great Villa. We chose the ones overlooking the ocean. It was private, large and quaint! 2) Staff was great! Friendly and so-so helpful! They made our stay! 3) Nice pool overlooking the sea 4) Massages are resort prices, but good value for money Cons 1) Food was average to below average. This was for both restaurants. 2) It felt like a trainee chef was preparing the food. Even the Thai food was bad! 3) There were a lot of bugs. In the villa and around the resort. I think the staff knows this, as this was the first resort in Phukhet where you were provided with bug sprays anywhere you went including the bars and restaurants. You really need to implement good anti-tropical-bug policies at the villa like ensuring that doors and windows are ALWAYS closed, else the villa will have a lot of bugs that are difficult to get rid off in minutes. Even swimming in the villa pool required bug spray else you'll have mosquito bites in minutes 4) Not much of a beach Having said that, inspite of the food and the bugs, the Villa made our stay which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 3
This is a wonderful hotel. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful, and the chef and team worked hard to accommodate my wife's vegetarian preferences - constantly coming up with new items that were not on the menu. Clearly they liked being able to show a little flair - but it was great for us as plenty of Thai Cuisine is meat and seafood. The hotel is a wonderful setting and provides you with privacy and an unmatched setting to just relax and chill. If you're looking for a more meeting strangers kind of location, then this isn't for you.
Excellent food and wine experience under Chef Jonathan Bruell and Sommelier Daniele Pinto for the interesting wine pairing from Californian Napa Valley Beringer Founders' Estate vs Australian Barossa Valley famed Penfolds at The MyGrill Restaurant certainly a highly commendable occasion where great food being together with great wines! From the pass around canapes to begin with till the well executed chocolate delice was greatly suited with Penfolds Club Tawny. Once again Ex Chef Jonathan, recently attached to this beautiful "hidden gem" had out performed his craft with the well concocted menu composition based on taste, seasonal fresh perishables and culinary experience. Sommelier Daniele - another vital wine personality on this Naka Island who is very passionate with his wine explorations in this wonderful occasion. Massive thanks to this FB dual for splendid and unforgettable dining occasion.
On a cool Fri night we headed over to The Naka from Ao Por Grand Marina, less than a 10 min boat ride, to be welcomed by golf carts waiting at the end of the pier. We were then whisked away to enjoy the Aperitif Canape’ in the Wine Collection Room. From there we moved to MyGrill Restaurant for a fantastic dinner prepared by Chef Jonathan Bruell. A tantalizing meal paired with great wines. A huge thank to Chef Jonathan and his team for an unforgettable meal.
