A very well equipped house, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed including cleaning supplies and sundries like salt and pepper. Location was great, just across the street from the beach and a mile from good grocery and other stores. A very solid, basic beach house for a smaller group.

Location location!

We had a wonderful stay with plenty of room for our group. Very clean home, attentive host, a well stocked kitchen, and minutes to the beach! Definitely need to check out Art’s Place while you’re here too. A short walk down the road for some really great burgers. And maybe a mid afternoon Bloody Mary It was a perfect week! Highly recommend renting this house.

We had a fantastic time in OBX. This house was perfect. It is such a short walk to the beach. We all loved the big porch, the swing and the gorgeous view. The outdoor shower was great. I kept my shampoo and cleanser there and used it every day. We didn’t do much cooking, but there appeared to be everything one would need. Host’s were terrific. I highly recommend this property

Great place!

My sons and I stayed for a few days and loved it! The place was very clean and had a nice view from the front porch. I loved hearing the ocean while relaxing out there. The decor was perfect for a nice beach feel. There was very easy access to the beach (not a straight shot across, but very close). It was also conveniently close to a lot of the shops.The only drawback for me was the outdoor shower. It was very dark (no sunlight filters in, which takes away the joy of being outside while showering) and lots of cobwebs. But this wasn’t enough to ruin our vacation.This was a GREAT place and I highly suggest it!

Amazing stay

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we couldn’t have had a better stay. We could watch the ocean while reading books on the deck and hop across to the beach easily. We generally hit the beach three times a day (morning, mid-morning, and evening) and the house’s central location gave us time to explore (we hit the waterpark, miniature golfed, did go karts, surfed the sand dunes and kayaked Alligator river). Our hosts were responsive and kind, but otherwise we stayed out of the way. The house is clean and is exactly what it looks like in the pictures.

Family vacation.

Great house. I’m a great neighborhood/area. Very easy accesible. We had the thermostats break because of how hot it was and the host got it fixed within a few hours. Their response and timeliness of addressing the matter was excellent as it was over 95+ degreess while we stayed there. Would highly recommend. Kitchen had all and every single appliance needed. Location was superb. Hosts were 10/10!

family vacation

This was a wonderful location for a family vacation. My husband and I went with our almost 2-year-old daughter and had a great time. We made a lot of use of the picnic table on the front porch for eating meals and when we weren't eating there, we appreciated all the options for eating within the house too. We loved that the walk to the public beach access was so short and we could see the ocean from the porch. There was a lot of great space inside and it was so nice that there were chairs and laundry at the house for us to use. It is a great place for those looking for a lot of levels of convenience and can work well even for a family with an active/mischievous toddler. :) Pending our family plans for next year (and who else vacations with us) we hope to come back for sure!

Wonderful trip!!

We had such an amazing time during our stay in OBX! The checkin process and overall communication with Nelene was excellent. She was clear and everything we needed to do was straightforward and simple. The house was clean, well stocked and able to accommodate all of our needs. There was a pack n play which turned out to be really helpful with our 2 year old. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. The view from the house/balcony was wonderful and it was so quiet and peaceful at night. It was an easy walk to the beach making it simple for us to get there multiple times each day. There are a handful of walkable places to eat which we loved. We were so close to everything including attractions in Duck, Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head. It was such a wonderful vacation. No one wanted to leave (the kids kept asking if we could keep the house) and we will definitely be back!

Perfect Week at the Beach

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The location was excellent, steps to the beach and a few more to restaurants and ice cream! The house was cozy and a perfect blend of beach house, log cabin, and cottage. It contained everything we needed, and my kids fell in love with the comfy couches, insisting we buy the same for our home. As great as the house is, I was most thankful for the ease of communicating with the host. Nelene was fantastic, responding to all messages right away, and was gracious and thorough in providing all relevant details. I would gladly return to this property or any other from this host. My family had a perfect week at the beach to kick off summer.

Perfect beach getaway!

The house is adorable and in a fantastic location! It's about a 2-minute walk to the beach and a few restaurants. The porch is incredible and was our favorite part of the house. The kitchen is decently stocked and the bathrooms were spacious and updated. The host was very helpful with any questions we had. We would gladly stay here again.

Great weekend!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. Convenient to everything, right across from the beach with water view. It is pet friendly and our small dogs loved the fenced yard! Would definitely stay again!
