March stay

The room was clean and the view was great. There was a washer and dryer but it wasn't hooked up. We also had some ongoing internet issues through our stay. But these were minor.

Very cute condo and very peaceful. We thought we were going directly though the owner and VRBO , we were wrong it was through Vacasa and not the owner . We got their Monday at 8:15 pm, after driving 9 hours , I had to clean the previous guest dishes that were still in the dishwasher dirty. Housekeeper did not make bunk beds , restroom reeked of urine. The housekeeper did not do anything , the sheets on the bed in the bedroom were dirty. If I could rent directly through the owner and VRBO I would come back and stay . Vacasa ruined it though. Did not want to help with any issues we had.

Great location and view

The location is perfect! That and the view are the best things about this rental. The condo itself was clean and as expected. The bed is not very comfortable, but not the worst. The carpet could definitely be updated. But, no major complaints. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely OBX ocean view

Enjoyed our stay. The condo has everything we needed. The best part is that it’s just a few flights of stairs from the beach and pool. Great view from the back deck, but it could use more comfortable outdoor seating.

Beachfront condo was amazing views!

We had a lovely time for three nights in the condo. We love the balcony and the views and the convenience to the beach! It was also easy to bicycle right into town! The condo itself was adequate and we had a fine time. Of course it could use some updates and a few maintenance issues, but that didn’t bother us at all!

Nice Place, needs updating

- Fix toilet seat in master BR - Need to clean the kitchen including top of refrigerator - Should make clear that there is NO second bedroom; only bunk beds in the hall - The Dishwasher door has no spring to stay up and the racks are rusted out, leaving marks on the kitchenware after washing - The nonstick pans ALL need replacing - No instructions for any electronics - Early checkout prevents the use of that day at the condo. - Long code for entry and exit - Nice pool and beach access, parking self-explanatory - Recommend a beach gear locker outside the door like the other condos.

Getaway/vacay

This property was not clean. The bedspread, bed pillows and dust ruffle had dried bodily fluid on them. We had to remove the items as the VACASA company could not get us clean ones until the next day. The floors had only been swept around and not under the table, etc. We are not used to apartment living, so it was not pleasant hearing the noise of others above us. That’s more a personal thing. The view was beautiful and was nice sitting on the balcony. The beach was quiet and beautiful.

Location was great, place not so much

The pros are the location, beach, pool, and balcony The cons are many: as another reviewer mentioned, the carpet is bad. It’s tearing up and stained throughout the home. The place is in need of a serious face lift. The couches are uncomfortable, the bed very firm. I might have just overlooked it in the details when booking but the bed seems to be a full not even a queen, and the room could easily fit a king. The internet is a community internet so you can’t use their TV much because you have to agree to terms on it and it’s very difficult (and I know how to use all the smart tvs and streamers) the balcony is great however the chairs are not comfortable to sit on for more than a few minutes. The slider windows were covered in dirt so I had to clean them to properly see out the window to the view. We had to make our bed when we arrived as no pillow cases were on the pillow and sheets were left in plastic bags. No beach or pool towels provided so we used the bath towels at the beach. New furniture would go far in this home. There's many places to stay on OBX I would not return to this one.

Perfect Location

This condo is the perfect location - beautiful oceanfront and quick walk or bike ride to everything in Duck. Plenty of space for the four of us. I spent lots of time on the balcony drinking coffee, reading, and doing yoga. Relaxing weekend!

Location! Location! Location!

The property was a short, easy walk to the beach. The pool was a great plus. The location was convenient to many attractions in the outer banks. The view from the deck was worth every penny! Having two full bathrooms was nice. The property was as described online. Everything you would need for cooking was available in the kitchen. Management was quick and prompt to reply to any messages. Check-in was a breeze. We will definitely go back to this place for our next trip to outer banks.

Salty Paws established 2023

This condo is comfortable with a beautiful layout to take advantage of together-time and the magnificent ocean view! The condo is beautifully decorated. You can watch sunrise from the balcony or get to the beach easily. Great spot for beach days! The furniture is comfortable and the amenities were beyond what we encountered before-nice to have soap, paper towels and toilet paper. The lower level of the building offers a shower for sandy feet/bodies (pool not open early May), restrooms instead of running to the condo, and coin-operated laundry facilities. Thank you to our hosts-you have shared a wonderful place to relax.
