This was my favorite hotel during out recent trip to the Keys. I really enjoyed all the little perks they offer like poolside smoothies, cookies and the shuttle. The pool area is very relaxing and fun to hang out at. The rooms were nice including comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The staff was excellent. I also enjoyed that this hotel is away from all the busy areas on the island and there is a beach across the street.

Room missing alarm clock the TV didn’t work right away both issues were rectified The restaurant in lobby area temperature was cold. The bar was cold with no plastic screens blocking the wind. Had to depart early because of the weather requested a refund for the day, but was declined.

the room was actually quite dirty , corners of the floor when wiped showed a lot of dirt , ridges and fronts of cupboards were dirty Also paint peeling of of walls and and trim and bathroom had paint patch marks that didn’t match the rest of the wall. The bar and workers were great and so was the shuttle.

First of all, I want to say that we usually love Margaritaville hotels, having stayed at several over the years, however we were very disappointed in this one. When we checked in, he told us where to park so that we would be closest to the elevator, but he failed to mention that the elevator was broken and actually the elevator on the ground floor coming off the parking lot did not tell you that the elevator was broken! The sign that told you the elevator was broken was up one flight of stairs so we stood waiting for an elevator, both of us in our 60s with all of our luggage until another guest told us that the elevator was broken so we had to carry all of our luggage up two flights of stairs. I understand that things break, but at check-in he should've told us so we could've brought our luggage to our floor that way. Then we check into our room which was facing the beach and very nice except that we had so many bugs at the kitchen sink! So so many and I did report this and nobody ever came to do anything about it, so it was very disappointing. We were there from December 22-26 and visited the bar for breakfast and happy hour and both times, everything was great!

I would say cockroaches in my room were not expeted for over $500 a night. Resort is dated, but OK for some families. I would say that older travelers might want to stay clear.
Cockroaches in the room, this is just one dead guy, the live ones video were to big to upload. I might pass on this place.

The property was wonderful. Great pool, restaurant, and the room was clean and well kept. Staff was all wonderful, from the welcome cocktail, help with a relentless alarm clock, daily free smoothies at poolside, great pool towels and lots of chaise lounges under umbrellas. Also enjoyed the 'air show' with the naval jets flying over a couple times a day. Great location for the beach too!
